It is an Comprehensive Expressly & Splendid work done. 1) As Per which section of the RBI Act, 1934 RBI can charge the penalty & whether that penalty amount is cumulative? 2) If, as said in the video that there is a penalty provision but after imposing the penalty for not maintaining or paying the said amount on the so called any bank in India fails to pay the respective due or overdue amount so as per which section of the RBI Act, 1934 RBI can go the attachment of the property. 3) Do Auditors have to disclose under the LFAR. (Long Form Audit Report.) 4) Can the said loan given by RBI to so called any bank in india forms the part of NPA in the books of RBI. 5) What are the legal remedies does the RBI have ? 6) It seems that the above mention are into legal aspects not related to finance but I condemn. Keep it up.

Fabulous video. Great explanation. I have a point to share and a doubt. 1. Ramesh Singh Indian economy states that bank rate is the rate at which long term loans are given to state governments, financial institutions like cooperative banks and NBFCs also. So not only to government right? 2. Why are bank rate and MSF aligned?
@FinancialPlanningAcademy
@FinancialPlanningAcademy 8 жыл бұрын
+Aamir Khan Thank you Aamir, (1) By definition bank rate is used to lend to central government, that does not mean it cant be used to lend states also and hence you are correct. (2) Basic funding to banks is through repo and to the central government is through TB'ills. Additional funding to the banks is through MSF and Central Government is through Bank rate and hence they are aligned.

Thank u sir for sharing this valuable concept.. there are few doubt of mine 1> what is the difference between commercial paper or bills with that of factoring. 2> if the MSF and BANK RATE are equivalent then what was the purpose of introducing MSF rate. I'll eagerly wait for ur answer... :-) thank u :-)
@FinancialPlanningAcademy
@FinancialPlanningAcademy 10 жыл бұрын
(1) I am not clear on what exactly is your doubt, Please reframe. (2) MSF Rate is RBI to Commercial Bank Lending where as Bank Rate is RBI to the Government Lending

Good video. But where is the 6th reason for uses of bank rate. From 02:33 to 02:40 you specifically said there are 6 reasons for using bank rate but you only explained five reasons.
@FinancialPlanningAcademy
@FinancialPlanningAcademy 10 жыл бұрын
Hi Dipesh, The 6th reason i was suppose to cover was to explain to you that Lending Rate is a composite of Bank Rate + Risk Premium which i cover with the other point so dint specify it as the 6th reason :) Best Regards, Kirtan Shah

you said in your another video that interest rate is going up or down in the country is explained by repo rate and in this video you say that FII look at the bank rate kindly explain...
@FinancialPlanningAcademy
@FinancialPlanningAcademy 9 жыл бұрын
saurabhloveschord Dear Saurabh, In India Repo rate is the key interest rate but in the western word Bank Rate is what repo rate is for us and hence FII's typically look at the Bank Rate. Hope i have been able to clarify the same for you.
