Mam till date, no default incident has happened in post office. It has government gaurantee.(sovereign) . I am still trying to find some safety measures like some insurance on post office investments.will make a video if get such info in future

Post office money goto central government directly so totally safe no insurance of diposit is needed . Bank n post office is different .

But premium bank yrly, ya half yrly pay karti he ye mai janana chahtiti kyuv ki agar maine bank me fd open ki one year ke liye aur usake bad agar bank premium pay nahi karta to hame kaise pata chalega. Means mujhe dicgc site pe monthly jake check karna padega bank insurance under cover he ya nahi. Again thank you very much for providing your valuable replies.

Vandana ji, make short videos, so people can watch easily and automatically views also increase, give few details, and give link in the description. You are scrolling all the list, it is not useful. Last week, I sent mail to DICGC for bank FD insurance premiums expiry. I got this reply from DICGC, All the registered insured banks pay premium to the Corporation on a half-yearly basis as per the provisions of the DICGC Act, 1961.The deposit insurance scheme is compulsory and no bank can withdraw from it. Hence, the question of expiry of insurance does not arise.
