🚩🚩🚩Wait waitttttt 1:52 did u just put a photo of an ugly dude and call him Mohammed. I will issume that u don't know any Muslims and therefore I will give u a pass. I hope none of the viewers think that this random ugly dude is a prophet. In Islam we never draw any prophet and nobody knows how they look like. It's actually veryyyyyyyy insulting to do so. Yo not to be that annoying viewer but I really like your channel so I wanna let you know that putting that image up during that first south park segment is hella disrespectful Not to mention that you're doing the thing that literally got the episode banned to begin with Depictions of the prophet are strictly prohibited in Islam, I hope you see this and fix this video to remove the part (or at least acknowledge that it was wrong) ☹️

I love how Nickelodeon censored bleeding gums but aired an episode of spongebob where theres a graphic scene of squidwar's toe nail getting removed up close by a furniture.

The Fairly Odd Parents episode's lesson of 'you're better off dead' is pretty close to suicidal thoughts. It doesn't help that Timmy would be killing himself to help his loved ones if he went to hell. I remember seeing the episode as an older kid and I didn't like how cruel it was to Timmy, and I felt somewhat sensitive because of the succesful daughter part.

Yes, the joke is funny, but it falls flat when you realize Mrs. Krabs' house is an unmistakable pink anchor that you'd think he'd have recognized on the way up, unless that was established later.

As someone who suffers with Epilepsy, that slowed down version is actually still too fast for many people. Even the clips were too fast.

I could be wrong, but I think they removed the fairly oddparents episode you mentioned because of the implication to kids that their family and friends would be better off if they never existed, perhaps they even worried that it convinced some kids that they were better off dead.

I agree. It's way too close to real suicidal thoughts and the episode essentially says 'Timmy is better off if he kills himself', albeit in a more permanent way.

That bit where Donald Duck is saluting pictures of Hitler on the conveyor belt is fuckin hilarious. It doesn’t even have to necessarily be Hitler himself for that joke to work. The idea that anyone who is forced to salute a dictator, works at a factory and pictures of that dictator start rolling down the conveyor belt so the worker has to salute him every time is genius. Really a timeless joke and I find those to be the best.

I feel like the Mr. Skinnylegs episode could've worked a lot better if they replaced the spider with something that's usually harmless like a beetle or a moth. They could also make it VERY clear that not all insects are harmless and you should stay away from. I understand what they were trying to do, they were trying to make kids less scared of bugs, but using spiders definitely botched up the moral.

Or even if they showed that not all spiders were friendly like Mr. Skinnylegs was. Like as much as spiders eek me out, a typical house spider isn’t that dangerous vs something like a brown recluse or a huntsman spider. Though, that may have been difficult to accomplish with the show’s simplistic art style.

It would have been so much better if it was a daddy long legs, which isn’t a spider, but is often mistaken for one. They are completely harmless and they help to keep the aphid population down just like lady bugs. Although sadly as the other reply said, you can’t get much of a detailed design in a show like Peppa Pig 😅

My kids saw the episode. And I remember telling them that insects are part of nature and a lot of them help the ecosystem. However, it’s best to leave them alone and talk to an adult when you spot one in order to safely deal with them.

It’s a Wishful Life is a horrible episode. I hated it as a kid and I hate it now. It’s just so unnecessarily cruel to Timmy and really does imply you should just unalive and your family will be happier, which is a dangerous thought that many depressed people already have.

PSA FOR FELLOW EPILEPTICS 6:42 until 7:10 has flashing contesting colour! That clip of Pokemon even slowed down still gave me a migraine, it really needs a warning please! For anyone else affected the timestamp of the flashing contrasting colours is 6:42 until 7:10 (there are multiple cuts of it in the edit, my time stamp is covering all of them)

29:29 I honestly think that this was a very wholesome ending to an episode like this because the episode delivered the message to kids about not drinking alcohol, but it also still shows the characters alive at the same time so kids don't get worried. I think it was creative for the writers and animators to do this 😊

i don't think rude removal was ever actually aired on CN originally, as far as i know it was only ever shown once at comic con and then shoved in a vault until adult swim dug it up and aired it a few years back

The way the swastika was positioned in that Donald Duck one plays a lot. A swastika not on an angle is actually Asian, and it meant peace or something. Then the nazis came, put it on an angle and boom. A flat square swastika is different than a diamond angled swastika

omg i remember seeing that red mist squidward reference live on tv by chance so many years ago! we were visiting family out of town and they had the tv on as background noise, i think i walked to the kitchen to get something when i turned around and that one scene was playing out. at the time, i was so thrilled and confused seeing a creepypasta reference on live tv like that. funnily enough that in itself could be a creepypasta, and im happy i got to experience it by sheer luck

I’ve actually seen some of The nick ones, I enjoyed the “red mist” reference in that spongebob episode, and got mad when it was replaced; and I saw that loud house episode about them getting sick, and it was actually one of the best loud house episodes I’ve seen.

35:53 I think one thing to mention other than it being "banned from streaming services" is that there was/is one normal way to watch it; on DVD. You even showed the cover for it. I remember out of the many Family Guy DVDs my ex gf owned, the infamous banned one was one of them. I still find it kind of insane that it's like heavily marketed as "YOU CAN ONLY WATCH THIS HERE, BANNED EPISODE" all over the DVD case lmao.

So, Rude Removal was never aired on TV. It was essentially shown at a convention type event for adult fans. It WAS intended to be part of season 2, but it was scrapped before it ever made it to TV. It only ever played at animation events for adults.

They did post it on the Adult Swim website very briefly once the creator confirmed its existence on Twitter. There was a lot of hype about getting this out there among fans.. I guess they got cold feet and took it down a few days later. This is where the rip of the episode that circulates the web now came from. But yeah, I'm surprised he thought it actually aired.

@@beardedqueenAh yes, it seemed far-fetched to me too. Like, maybe they'd get away with the mooning, violence and insulting dialogue, but a character flipping the bird in a kids' cartoon? I can't imagine that slipping past the censors. Then again, there was that one Adventure Time episode that referenced the gesture. Albeit with a worm on top of a statue's fist getting mistaken for an obscene finger by other characters.

It's a Wishful Life - IF I remember correctly, the episode implies that everyone in Timmy's life would have a better life if he didn't exist (including his parents of course), making Timmy wish that exact thing... Again, IF I remember correctly

Something that always bothered me with the Oddparents episode besides the obvious: When looking for someone who's life would be worse without him, why wasn't Tootie brought up? She's rather miserable especially when compared to him and he was a source of happiness for her. They did do an episode about Timmy actually doing something nice for Tootie! The episode Birthday Wish sees Timmy wishing that Cosmo and Wanda were Tootie's fairies for a day so she can have a happy bithday.

I remember watching the Spongebob episode with Squidward Suicide in it with my little brother. We are both HUGE creepypasta and SCP fans so when we saw it we couldn't contain our excitement. I'm not kidding you we watched that episode at least 3 times a day until it got removed and when it did we were kind of upset but we were also happy that kids wouldn't be as traumatized.

The whole point of Caillou was to showcase a kid doing things he shouldn't or deliberately against what his parents said and he always either gets in trouble, hurts himself or hurts someone else. That leads to the lesson for the episode and it touched on very reasonable things. Jealousy of a sibling is completely normal and kids often do things like Caillou did to their siblings. It's not over violent it's reality. Also why Caillou is so whiny because he is a child that often misbehaves, he is the example of what not to do and the show is pretty clear on that

yeah same with gargoyles. where one character because he is from the castle/medieval ages. doesnt understand guns. shoots the main girl character. then quickly realizes what happened... it showed kids like me fire arms are dangerous. and it was shocking. but also a very valuable teaching.

27:00 The "Blame it on Lisa" episode was banned in Brazil mainly because the Rio de Janeiro's state sued Fox about the episode most likely influencing directly the tourism industry and movement there. But ~5 years later the Episode was allowed to be broadcasted there on TV Globo (but with a sort of warning beforehand about the jokes that would appear in the EP were totally in a satirical way) Iirc, has an EP that the Simpsons family will visit a childhood place (more specifically an attraction there), when they're in the boat, Lisa mentions that local stinks... Bart asks if it's worse than Brazil, and afaik, Lisa agrees with Bart. But in Brazilian dubbing, they changed the dubbing for not mention Brazil in that case with: "You think so?"; "If I said, it's because it is"

I saw 'One Beer' on a rerun and was laughing my ass off at the subtle satire of its own PSA nature. The way things quickly go out-of-character and they all become blithering drunkards, the over-the-top death scene at the end, followed by the Tiny Toons taking off their costumes and walking out of the studio like "can we do a funny one next week?" Such a good episode to stumble across randomly.

Yeah, I think they were annoyed about having to make a preachy PSA episode so they made it as passive-aggressively and flippantly as possible. It's pretty funny. I would guess that's why Fox changed their mind about showing it on Fox Kids, but idk. Of course, the effects of drinking one bottle of beer (split between three characters, no less) are hugely exaggerated for comedic effect. But I've seen "the evils of alcohol" blown way out of proportion with no hint of irony in shows like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Rather than telling kids alcohol is unsafe for children or in large quantities, Sonic just basically says drinking alcohol is for "dumbbots" and shouldn't be done at all. What is gonna happen when a kid learns that, only to see their own older family members relaxing with a glass of wine or a refreshing beer? Maybe the kid will simply realize that Sonic isn't a great or clear source of knowledge, but who knows.

Whoa hey hey, just pausing for a sec to talk about the Caillou episode… He pinched his 2 year old sister’s cheeks, she cried, and there were NO CONSEQUENCES for his actions. The episode in no way teaches kids what not to do. In fact, his parents are way too passive overall. I don’t believe in spanking but these parents do almost nothing as far as learning consequences or discipline. It’s a terrible show overall but the pinching deserved the ban. Another fact: in a book about the same incident Caillou BITES his sister. Just…no.

I remember hearing about "De Fuhrer's Face" episode in US History class and my teacher played the episode. I enjoyed it so much along with the rest of my classmates, we got the joke and none of us ever took offense. A little addition to this comment (possibly will be more): I remember stumbling upon "Rude Removal" when I was 18 along, both the censored and uncensored versions and oh my goodness, I was stunned. I showed it to my dad who looked at me and said that he's never seen that episode to which I told him, "because it is a banned episode!" Of course he was stunned and it got both of us to think of other shows that has banned episodes and oh boy even older cartoons would've been considered banned even by now in 2022! Another addition: surprisingly, the mention of Squidward's Suicide in an episode of Spongebob Squarepants isn't the first. A couple years before Cartoon Network made a nudge to a Creepypasta about a "lost episode" of the Amazing World of Gumball called "The Grieving" and it was a funny skit of one of the characters - the banana guy - dancing and singing in his usual annoying voice. They even had a warning saying that it might disturb some viewers. I saw it and it was funny to watch.

I think you should slow down the flashing lights from the Porygon episode as it’s potentially harmful for viewers with epilepsy. My mother has epilepsy and I know from experience how easy it is to have a seizure. I know you slowed down the most infamous scene but there are still clips from the episode that are shown at a regular speed. Thank you for reading and I hope you can consider my recommendation! Otherwise a phenomenal video though

That episode of The Simpsons about guns is actually a good one. Obviously they exaggerate things. It’s not easy to get a gun from an FFL with a bad background. You would have to make it a straw purchase or buy from private seller. But the show does show the importance of trigger control, education on weapons, how to properly store your weapon etc

To add some context, there are two things so far that I would like to point out: 1. They didn't just fire the creator of the banned Ren and Stimpy episode, but the shows creator and potentially the staff working with him, because his toxic perfectionist work attitude caused the episodes to air late from their announced air time. As for what caused his picture to be taken down from the wall of creators, he had been very opened about it in the past, especially on air, and no one at Nickelodeon said anything despite knowing about it until his two victims who at the time he ran Ren and Stimpy were both underaged and groomed to date him and do explicit things with him finally spoke out. 2. As for why out of all the episodes that reference Michael Jackson, I think the reason why that specific episode got pulled out of Disney Plus has to do with the fact that Michael Jackson, who went under the alias of John Jay Smith, did the speaking role for Leon because he couldn't credit himself due to his contract with Sony.

Fun fact: When voice actors say lines that are meant to be bleeped out in kid shows, they actually say the words because not saying them makes the sentence structure seem cut off and unnatural. So the Rude Removal uncensored episode is probably just the uncut version and not overdubbed though I haven't seen it myself

I am from Brazil, and I can tell you just how much the Simpsons episode(s) on my country can be bad to the view of my people. When I was 6 years old me and my family went on to live in South Africa, and throughout the 2 years we lived there me and my sister went through hell on account of all the xenophobia and racism, being called monkeys and saying we lived in trash. And you may ask where the Simpsons come in play, most of the people who were bad to us constantly quoted the show when we tried and talk back, which was hard based on the fact we were still learning English, they would mostly quote the episode where the Simpsons went to Brazil and sent trash here. Because of this I actually never watched a single episode, and to this day I talk about it when people say that shows do not influence peoples opinion, and it is "All a joke".

I got pretty lazy when I put out my disturbing website iceberg because I was just riding the million view high. And I stopped posting as much. Now I'm back and making a ton of content again :) So i wouldn't be surprised if my channel doubled in size within the next few months honestly. I just need to actually put in the work
