Bannerghatta National Park is located near Bangalore, Karnataka. It was founded in 1970 and became national park in 1974.
A small portion of the park became a zoological garden, the Bannerghatta Biological Park in 2002.
It is around 25 Kms from Central Bangalore and 70 Kms from Bangalore Airport.

Butterfly Park is also situated here and have different species of Butterflies.
With AC bus safari, Butterfly park entry is free but in case of Non-AC an extra charge of ₹50 is applicable per person.
