@user-fw9zh7bs4hАй бұрын
In Quebec, a law passed to ban all phones in school's classes (doesn't affect college and above). And let me tell you this didn't really work x) Some teachers disagreed with this because they knew how to deal with the problem unlike many teachers and they knew why some used their phone legitimately (music, urgent texts, watch the clock in a fraction of a second for some reason when there are clocks in class) With this stupid law, if we want to make an educational activity with the phones (kahoot or researches) we must advise the school's principal/direction about this at least 24h before doing it. This is a pain in the ass for some teachers (art teachers especially). This will not change anything, you'll just hear more people bitching about it (not just the bad apples, but the good ones because they take for others) If you want to deal with this problem efficiently, here's what you can do; My History Teacher's solution : If you're caught with your phone and don't want to give it, next class, you don't come until your give it. Some of my teachers before the law : You put it in a basket on the teacher's desk. It's not that deep, you just need an effective solution (like the 2 solutions I gave, they were pretty effective I can tell you that) if someone is on his phone.
