Honestly maybe not an Emmy but he definitely deserves more recognition for his role as twins Jethro and Van in New Zealand tv show Outrageous Fortune, he’s hilarious in it

VinnyLogz because it’s not a show about superheroes. If that’s really your gripe with the show you shouldn’t even try to analyse television because you’re dreadful at it. The boys is about the power dynamics between regular people and people with inhuman abilities and how this affects society, navigating through the political and economic realities of a new world order. The show is so much deeper than just people wearing capes and punching each other super hard.

Indeed I found this show after the boys I don't know how I missed it back in the day, this show is unique and hits hard with every episode, season 4 is the weakest but I had to watch whole of it there was no way to leave it after like 2/3 episodes in the start

@verbadum22 i think it was more about that mystery coil circled around him. No name, fucked up past, he has only few people, that he can trust. I think Hood is mostly telling all emotions with his eyes. I saw more than thousand movies and more than hundred shows, but still: never enjoyed someone else more than Antony - Antony and his wet eyes, were the main reason, why i watched Banshee. Not for action, or anything else. Just for his wet, sad eyes. It was so depressing and Antony was giving an 100% in every scene and action moment. He was so devastated, fucked up every episode, with so many scars and etc, dirty from dust and blood and that... exaggerated face, oh man. He was like... you can tell, that he didn't slept well. His eyes were so tired... but this is what is making him an brutal badass for me.

I’ve seen Boys and Banshee. Banshee shows what a good actor A.S. truly is. Such a good performance. Boys doesn’t do him justice.

Not a fan of The Boys I'm afraid, just not for me, but Antony steals the show every time. He is the best thing in it for me. My preference is his work in Banshee though, a phenomenal show that I didn't discover until 2018, two years after it finished. My all time favourite show now. Antony was also the most amazing, most intense performer I've seen since James Woods. I think Ivana Milisevic said it best on one of the commentaries, 'Antony Starr basically has lightning bolts coming out of every pore of his body'. So true.

Only just started watching Banshee on Foxtel .. up to s2 now.. Drew me in instantly. Lucas Hood is a great character, great show. Never detected an inkling of a NZ accent, usually a word would slip through with actors but not him.

No entiendo como este chico no está más solicitado, menudo pedazo de papel que enmarco en Banshee ...me es todo un misterio. Banshee: una de las series más infravaloradas de todos los tiempos, a pesar de que triunfo, ni mucho menos lo que debiera, en mi humilde opinión. Menudos personajes más bien elaborados, me enamore de cada uno de ellos pero especialmente el de Hook es impresionante.

This is one of the best series ever, , Job, Carrie and Sugar, GREAT players. He and Job are my favorites. Proctor and Rabbit also good players, good story all seasons. And good action. Shame that it ends after 4 seasons.
