Otroligt vacker sång, perfekt balans mellan musiken och orden, hör man denna sång kan man dö lugnt. Den är odödlig.

Sublime music - Helen is wonderful♥
@sexypoetry Жыл бұрын
it is not a "sublime music", it is hamstrung version of "can't help falling in love" ....cause the lyrics are so dull that andersson simply wanted to hear it as "something else", that's all

How do you know what "beautifully sung" means when your "biggest star" was herman brood whose only two "hits" were "never be clever" (i.e. Honky Tonk Women by the Rolling Stones) and "Saturday night" (aka "The pusher" by Steppenwolf)...i.e. both of "his hits" were bleak copies of better songs from elsewhere...and I can't even write about his constipation-style "singing" until I stop laughing first of all

Lyrics of this song(Ylva Eggehorn), translations from Swedish into English made by Lars Andersson; Touch me now Fill my life to the brim I who was a child then looking for my song Who took my grief who robbed me of the gift it gave me my strength I was a child The time of love Has preserved my longing I who was a child then looking for my song Touch me now fill my life to the brim you gave me my hunger I'm a child

Touch me now, fill up my life to the brim Me, who was a child then, searching my song Who took my grief, who deprived me the gift It gave me my strenght, I was a child Time of love, has protected my longing I, who was a child then, searching my song Touch me now ,fill up my life to the brim You gave me my hunger, I am a child ******* It is also in the Swedish book of hymns and is often sung at baptism ceremonies, weddings as well as funerals

The lyrics are the routinely mediocre Eggehorn-claptrap while the music indicates that Andersson didn't even bother to read it...he preferred to hear it as "Only fools rush into Thailand, but he can't help falling in love with the place where his wife can't so easily chase him around in a car" as she did in Stockholm ....when Plant took him to one of the very few local "dens of iniquity" ...if I may quote Rober Plant...well, sure I may...he should be happy to know that someone is quoting him, for once....not the other way around, as usually
