Honestly curling is my favorite Olympic winter sport it’s oddly satisfying to watch and weirdly entertaining it’s an anomaly it makes no sense at all but I love it

In case it's not obvious to non-curlers : Sweeping wouldn't make a difference for these stones that slide over dry surfaces with ball bearings. Sweeping works on ice because it slightly heats the ice, letting the stone melt it more easily. And removes any frost. Source: I'm a curler and a physicist, and I've played with a smaller toy curling set with a teflon mat and small rocks.
