These images were shot in the Pyrenees (France) in September 2019, near the Col du Tourmalet in Barèges.
This mountain field is also named Castillon de la Laquette, reference LF6528.
Very steep, and ultimately relatively long taking this slope into account, care must be taken to conserve enough energy to reach the platform and not to remain stuck in the slope. You will see that for our first landing on this altisurface, we missed a little something that makes all the difference.
Thanks to the crew of the Tetras VX, Roger and Annie, who helped us get out of this uncomfortable situation, Annie not hesitating to sacrifice her fold in a burst of pure generosity.
To correct the shot, during the next lap, the finishing point was chosen a little later. Nor should we, on the contrary, arrive too quickly on the platform, because it is not very large and not very welcoming at its end. So everything is in the dosage, but it’s much easier when you’ve already landed once.
