This video deals with a serious topic i.e. ‘Is ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar an atheist ( নাস্তিক বিদ্যাসাগর )?’ I have renamed the topic in Bengali as 'ঈশ্বর ও ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর' ( God or supreme power and Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar). Two hundred year passed away after his birth, but still now the question of his religion and belief is not solved yet.

The theists consider him as a believer in God , whereas the atheists explain him as a non-believer. I have researched a lot on the topic and made this video.
Though I am not a professional speaker, I have tried to present a conclusion in my own way. I have found the truth of his life, which leads all his activities throughout his life. ‘Work is God' --- this is the truth I found in his life. All most everyone says that work is his only religion ( কর্মই তাঁর ধর্ম), where as I want to say , work is not only his religion but also his Iswar or God ( কর্মই তাঁর ঈশ্বর). Though there is vast difference in the idea of ‘Religion’ and ‘God’, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar united the two ideas in only one point : 'Work is all'.

অসাধারণ উপস্থাপনা, খুবই ভালো লাগলো ।ঈশ্বর বলে যদি কিছু থাকে তাহলে বিদ্যাসাগর মহাশয় সেই ঈশ্বর । এতো সুন্দর করে উপস্থাপনা করলেন সেই জন্য অনেক ধন্যবাদ ।

সত্যি, এটাই ছিল বিদ্যাসাগরের জীবন। আলোচনা টি খুব ভালো লেগেছে। তিনি ছিলেন একজন অনন্য সাধারন প্রতিভাদীপ্ত ব্যক্তিত্ব। সারাজীবন তিনি অন্যায়, অবিচারের বিরুদ্ধে, হিন্দু সমাজের কুসংস্কারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করেছিলেন। তাঁর মতো মানব দরদী ব্যক্তি আর পাব কি না জানি না।

Well said, sir! Ishwar is was a great man! He was highly educated and influenced by Oriental throughts and ideas. He didn't believe in God and religion. He was an atheist.💯 He believed in Humanity and Kinddess. All religions are manmade.💯 People become evil, cruel, selfish and fanatic by religion.💯

এ বিষয়ে আপনার সাথে আমার দ্বিমত আছে। কথামৃত আমি মন দিয়ে পড়েছি। বিদ্যাসাগর কখনো দক্ষিনেশ্বরে যান নি বলে শিষ্যদের কাছে রামকৃষ্ণ কটুক্তি করেছেন। একবার নয়, বেশ কয়েবার। তবে বিদ্যাসাগরের এসব বিষয়ে কখনো কোন মন্তব্য শোনা যায় নি। যাইহোক, আমি বহুমতকে শ্রদ্ধা করি। আপনার মতামত আমার সাথে না মিললেও আপনার মতের প্রতি আমার শ্রদ্ধা আছে, থাকবে। এখানে মতামত জানিয়েছেন বলে আপনাকে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। 🙏🏼

I am a member of a science society as well as member of Vivekananda Yuba Mohamondol. I feel sad when the members of science society critise of several points of Vivekananda....a as well as the members of Vivekananda Yuba Mohamondol critise points on Vidyasagar....two opposite figures. ...but see these two great man did their best service for society ...their thoughts were different but target was same.....we the people's with little panicked knowledge make conflictions among us......thank you

আমি কখনোই বলিনি যে রামকৃষ্ণ এবং বিদ্যাসাগরের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক খারাপ ছিল। তাদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক ছিল শ্রদ্ধার সম্পর্ক। কিন্তু বিদ্যাসাগর যেহেতু কথা দিয়েও দক্ষিণেশ্বরে কখনো পা রাখেননি, তাই রামকৃষ্ণ তার নিজস্ব ভঙ্গিমায় শিষ্যদের কাছে অনেকসময় ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেছেন। সমালোচকরা সেইসব মন্তব্যকে অনেক সময় 'কটুকথা' বলে বর্ণনা করেছেন। এখানে 'কটুকথা' শব্দটি লঘু অর্থে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। রামকৃষ্ণকে কখনো অসম্মান করে কথাটি বলা হয়নি। আপনার মন্তব্যটি পড়ে আমার খুব ভালো লেগেছে। উত্তর দিতে দেরি হল সময়ের অভাবের জন্য। ভালো থাকবেন।
