Let's be honest, 2020 has sucked. That's why today I wanted share one of the most heart warming, slice of life anime that I've ever seen. Like all good anime, Barakamon taught me many life lessons that have inspired me deeply. I made this video in hope of helping someone else out there, even if it's in the slightest way.

Hey everyone,I wrote this script before things got even more hectic in 2020. It pains me to see so much injustice in this world. I hope everyone out there is safe and I pray that this year will begin to turn around. Like I said in the video, Barakamon may just be an anime but hopefully it will put a smile on someone's face.

I still remember the Mochi episode, where the grandma says "Douzo", it hit so right in place. In real life, we're always forced to hustle and compete and keep moving ahead, but Barakamon showed me passive hard work. To enjoy what I love the most, to work hard on it with my own effort instead of constant comparison, and yet living a fulfilling and happy life. It really taught me to become what I wish to be, and yet remain who I am at the same time. I have watched it some 4 or 5 times yet, and every single time, it has been a reminder of how simple and great life can be, even within the real world's competition.
