All these shows had relatively clean topics for each skit. Of course on this particular one with Jonathon Winters, lol. He always pushes the "suggestive" notions real close to the edge at times. I was surprised it happened here when he was doing the Santa skit, and there were young girls in the audience. Seemed a bit awkward in that respect, but it was still funny, in a burlesques sort of way.

@@jasminnemcdonald94A A good one ! As a boy I was concentrated on her breasts which was covered by a bra with the same cloth as her harem pants. Well I would have asked her to wear her harem custome on but topless. If thisTVseries were made in France in the 1960s by a French TV studio and cast, it would be done that way and probably went on the air at midnight in order to ensure that children would be in bed sleeping but not on Friday as many kids would possibly be up to see what was on TV because there is no school on Saturday. By the way in 1985 she made a TV movie named I Dream of Jeannie 15 years Later. In that she wore an up dated harem custome that had a smaller bra and her pants ended several inches below her belly button. She had the most beautiful stomach on a woman I ever saw until Fran Drescher in the TV series The Nanny was I a bikini on a beach in an episode. Delicately speaking when I saw that TV movie in which she wore that custome I had an erection which I never got from a TV movie. I was 29 years old at that time. My late mother told me years earlier that her father was like me, I appreciated women who were natural and he died in 1945 long before I was born. So it is true in some families. What a grandparent likes is sometimes inherited by their grandchildren. I also like silk ties and a straw hat with a wide brim like in the 1920s called a boater that my grandfather also liked. This was something I never knew until I bought these in a shopping mall in Jersey City, N.J in the 1990s. Thank you very much and I would like you to know that everything I ever wrote on the internet in the past4 years is true and I do make sarcasm and jokes. One can tell it by reading it. I do have a sense of humor which is hard to do in public by entertainers due to political correctness and the Woke and Cancel Culture which I despise. Just be true to yourself like I do and I an able to listen to other points of view from different people and cultures. I , yse,f am a New Yorker who grew up in NYC in the 1960s Mad Men era and am a baby boomer. And am also a naturalized American citizen who was born in Havana,Cuba in 1956 and as a 2 month old baby came with my parents legally on August 2, 1956 which explains my personality and why I despise the Hollywood Establishment. Good night and take care and God bless.

This was such an amazing show back then. Even as a little kid I loved watching it. Now? Even more so. To see Harvey Corman get so close to cracking up? Just comedic gold! Especially when Harvey was paired with Tim Conway. Those two were hilarious, pure comedic genius! To say that this show had talented people? That's an understatement! Their core group of actors were incredibly talented, insanely funny, and basically had it all! Then bringing in guests like Barbara Eden, who aside from being absolutely gorgeous, boy could she sing! Wow! They also had some great guests from television and movies. All of them were top tier talents and they really knew how to make people laugh! This show easily took the top spot for a comedy variety show. The 70's had some of the BEST ALL-TIME SHOWS during this decade. From M*A*S*H to Carol Burnett and so many more, this decade was in my opinion the Golden Age of TV. I know this is said so many times, BUT "They DON'T make them like this ANYMORE!" This show had it all, humor, and pure classic entertainment! But it also had HEART AND SOUL! That's something that shows now are seriously LACKING! These people/actors/actresses/ characters, they truly loved one another! They loved "working" with each other and like Lyle Waggoner once said, "This isn't work, it's FUN!" Nowadays it's all about EGO! Who gets top billing?!? Or WHO makes the most money?!!!? Who gets the most and the funniest lines?!!? ME ME ME ME ME ME ME, that's the new Hollyweirdo's Television and sorry but it is AWFUL! I'll take shows like The Carol Burnett Show, M*A*S*H, or the Odd Couple over ANYTHING made in now!

It was great to see Barbara Morrison in this episode (beginning at 23:08). She was such a terrific character actress. I especially loved her in her guest spots on "Bewitched", usually as some uptight woman whose panties were perpetually in a bunch. She played that role to the hilt. A really good actress who knew how to milk her comedic roles for everything they were worth.

What a sweet Christmas treat this is. And that musical number at 18:18 with Barbara Eden was simply delightful. So much energy there! Ernest Flatt and his dancers were something special. Imagine how much rehearsing and practicing *that* sequence took. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. I love seeing Jonathan Winters in variety shows where he can do characters. Always a pleasure. He had his own show for a while which I understand was improvised for the most part. Oh, and that surprise in the Invisible Man sketch was a hoot. I have seen this sketch several times and it's always terrific, especially how Carol does the physical stuff trying to fend off her amorous hubby. Thanks for sharing this episode with the fans! Merry Christmas and a Wonderful 2022.
