I was an extra in 7 Perry Mason TV movies in the early 90's. Barbara was SO LOVED by everyone. When she showed up on the set (always on time), everyone doted on her. A grand lady with a lot of warmth and charm.

This was truly a wonderful interview. I've always admired and adored her as Della Street on Perry Mason. With the ability to now watch so many remarkable TV series and movies of yesteryear, there is now great interviews to also be reaired. I found so many actors and actresses actually had lives of their own and I find them now even more interesting since learning about THEM, not just the people portrayed for our enjoyment. Ibwould never thought that Della Street AKA Barbara Hale would EVER say on national what was yelled to her in RKO's commissary. She was cut from the same cloth as my mother, Queen Elizabeth and Emily Post. All were so dignified, beautiful, polite, personal and under- standing. What a shock with what she resited during her interview. You just gotta love a GRAND DAME like her.

I have had a "crush" on Barbara longer than I would like to remember. The film role that got me was in Jolson Sings Again. She's such a fine actress that she held her own against the great Jolie, even though it was only him singing. The scene where she dances with Cantor Joelson, played by the fabulous Ludwig Donath is great! Thank you Miss Hale for all! I love you!!

92 (in 2014) and still going. Same face, same voice, just aged some. Extremely alert and a very long unclouded memory and what a sense of humor !! Thanks for posting, this is awesome. I never go too long without popping a Perry Mason dvd in the player. After watching it for 55 years, I know a lot of the dialogue by heart.

A very modest and decent person from Hollywood that I would respect. I haven't noticed once a picture of her exposing a tad above her face, hands and feet. And like Tarn Sand said she must have never opted for a plastic surgery, which is why she has such a natural and good looking appeal to this age. To those who wonder which year this took place it says 2014 at the start of the video, post premier of The Window movie at the same venue.

As well as she seems here, she died about a year and a half after this interview. Those eyes were as stunning as ever. Nice lady.

she has absolutely gorgeous hair. I wish they'd have talked about her film debut in "Higher and Higher". She debuted with Frank Sinatra as her love interest and the delightful Victor Borge.

She is swell..simple as that. I have seen all of the Perry Mason episodes so many times. The one thing I always wondered. How in this world did she avoid cancer from second hand smoke? She is one lovely and blessed lady. Thanks Della.

When did this interview take place? Thank you so much for sharing! It's so special to be able to watch and enjoy this wonderful event for those of us who are unaware or couldn't attend.

I'm wondering what year this interview was as Barbara was born in 1922.She looks amazing still sounds the same. Thank goodness there were actresses who did not go the extreme plastic surgery route. For example Kathryn Grant-Cosby (widow of Bing) looks frightening she has had so much done. What a shame. Great to see Barbara. Cheers for upload. :)

Such a historic interview with an important star and they saddled Barbara with the biggest most awkward microphone ever. Shame
