Puri is in a creative crisis right now, he is unable to adapt to the changing sensibilities of audience . The problem is most of the directors like Puri are not receptive to feedback, are adamant on making things their own way and when audience rejects that , they cry foul. Same issue with actors like Vijay Devarakonda - they are not open to criticism and will blame audience or worse, look down on them saying they are not smart enough.
