Crochet Barbie Gown tutorial step by step instructions. You can use this pattern for your personal use only, do not sell my patterns or reproduce them under your name.
I use a size #2 (2.25mm) hook & Hobby Lobby Egyptian #10 cotton. It is a little finer than other #10 cotton threads. I also crochet tight, so if you have any problems my suggestion is when you start, crochet 1- 2 rows & measure it around the waist so it overlaps enough for snaps. Change your hook until you get that measurement, then start on the pattern.

Hi Mimi, I adore your patterns and tutorial videos. I have question regarding the stitch count on rows 19 - 22 (the sleeve rows) of the bodice. When I count my stitches I end up with 58 sts not 54. Is it my error or a typo? Thank you for your help.

Love this pattern and would love to make it, but not having any audio makes it difficult to follow for me. dress itself. The only audio on the video is when you’re showing how to make the ruffle.

You can see how the top is made by the video called basic bodice top I use this for most of my dresses then you put the ruffle on it has the video. I hope that helps.

My comment is that It takes patience to do a tutorial. I think that if you would of gone through each row with your audience, they would appreciate it more. What I mean to say is that if you explain one row, do a few lines, stop the video, and come back on row 2, until the end, it would really help. I'm a visual learner. I don't like to do all that reading, but thank you for at least explaining some of this tutorial.

Ok so I have a question. When I try to do any of your paterns I try switching hooks but every time it seems to be to big around the body. Idk if I am doing something wrong or if it is the yarn I use plz help me. If it helps my barbies I have there arms and legs do not move and there hips are not big like some in other videos I watch to make there dresses.

I have an idea for a dress you can make it is the Same as this pattern except the belly button and up well under the breast holes that are connected kind of like the skirt part except only one double crochet instead of 4 then chaining one and you now what I mean it is just a thought I had sense you are so good at making up your own designs.
