This reminds me so much of the barbie grocery or gas station playset I had as a kid. It came with a slushie/freeze machine that was a lot like the drink machine in this video. I miss being a kid, but I have kept all my barbie stuff for my future kids

10:28 the material used for the more transparent plastic is more expensive (I assume due to additional refinement required) hence this is likely due to cost-cutting measures.

I received this set for an anniversary gift from my hubby. I love it. It would've been nice if it included a sandwich and a salad. Luckily I have a small salad I can use from a ReMent playset. I like that the yogurt containers have no labels on. That way a person can have a mandarin orange or a peach yogurt, a strawberry or a raspberry yogurt. I think that the clear water bottles you suggested would've have been better. I wish we could buy one of the mugs on display or one of the coffee pots. They are so cool looking.

Hi Froggy! Thanks for the Illustration. I just bought one yesterday and I like it. For putting a Coffee Shop together for the first time, I think it will help me get started. I'd say made to move as they're cheaper and fit into the camera better but it's what ever works for you if you like it then keep it

TheSvesken you can find cheaper smart doll clothes ( they wear the same as most sd sized bjds ) i don’t recommend buying anything aside from the doll on the website tbh unless you’re trying to get free shipping now that they’ve raised their shipping prices AND the price it takes for shipping, way too expensive.

Pieces are better, it's just a matter of getting something that can hold all of it. I used to be super bad about misplacing things as a kid (still am bad at it.) I had one Barbie set that had TINY eggs that could be "cracked" open and had a tiny white and yolk. I wish I hadn't sold that stuff.

Great review as usual! This caught my eye because I just recently sold a makeshift coffee shop using left over furniture & items that all looked like a mini cafe to me LOL. If my daughter was little I'm sure she'd want me to buy her this set.

The set is really nice and gives you great accessories to use when doing photography, I agree with Toya on the points she made, the outfit should have been separate pieces, some finer details on the play set, and I am tired of the same clone Barbie, not a fan of the eyes Mattel are falling us! Give us more made to Move dolls! Thank you for the great review Toya!

Been with My Froggy Stuff since late 2013, now am starting high school and are still trying out their crafts so thanks again for making these videos and continuing to do these amazing crafts. My proudest craft that I tried would probably be the pool.

I bet you could cut that apron out of the dress, add some ties, then use it over any other outfit! I'd use pink embroidery floss for ties. Of course, you'd lose the dress in the process, but you'd get more versatility of her wardrobe. The only question is whether the fabric would curl or fray. But I bet some Fray-Check would handle that.

I agree with removing the included dolls from the play set. Then if they just better some small details they could still charge the same price. Or leave it how it is without the doll and make it a little cheaper.

We bought this coffee set for Christmas so the doll and play set a perfect gift. It was also for a three year old who wanted Barbie but is still being introduced to small pieces. We display it w the Barbie on a slightly higher shelf and it’s a nice experience when we play together

just like xena, barbie has many skills. i actually liked this. it is real, cool. i would have mind to see the fashion as separate pieces. the clear water bottles would also be a plus but the articulation is a must. i would totally buy it.

Here is a tip: if you want to put the outfit on a less curvy doll use a rubber band as a belt so it is not so loose. I have this set and it is really fun

I have been waiting to see this unboxing for what feels like forever! it's a buy for me.....and Yes I could have done with out the doll and had a dress and apron separate. If Barbie wants to keep up with NA NA NA and LOL they can't be cheap on the fashion.

It's such a bummer when they give us an awesome background that gets torn up when we remove the items! Time to dig out my printer and attempt to replicate it lol I love this set! The menu board shows the cake pops being all different colors... I'd totally be tempted to paint mine so they're not all pink lol This will go great in the awesome coffee shop you recently redid! I agree about the labels; sounds like something we creators will have to make ourselves lol

Honestly, going to have to pass on this one. I love the drink machine and the accessories, but honestly, I prefer the coffee shop you made more. I'm also not big on the peg holes. Sure, it's great for keeping pieces from falling down, but it looks so unnatural.

I totally agree with you in regards to the added doll, it seems as though all the playsets come with one. I prefer to purchase the doll/body type that I preferred rather than have one included as I usually discard them or include them in my Goodwill box I would pass

I would totally cut off the pegs on the bottom of the accessories and use them like milk and chocolate syrup, and stuff in that range. Also maybe you could take the cash register and cut off the peg and use it as a cash register in your froggy cafe. And if you don’t like the picture you could just replace it and make a new printable. 😁

i love the coffee shop! but i wish it was more decorated, does that make sense? like, imagine if it had small flower details, it'll turn into a floral coffee shop. as much as i like the simplicity and the whole idea of this set, i wish it has more life to it. thank you for reviewing this!
