LMFAO but seriously, when I saw pics of these, I thought the T-shirt was fully sewn in place with no fun underneath as one of those weird Mattel cost saving measures (like the incomplete floors in the newest Dreamhouse) to save a fraction of a cent per doll on the fur. That they made them separate but completely irremovable is an inexplicable choice.

I love that you went with it and took the tops apart. Its a pretty simple sewing craft for a beginner and they looked really cute. Also if you still wanted to use the coats for the animal costume just put the seam in the back, easy enough.

The dimple face is ESA astronaut Samantha Christoforeti. I think it's *SO* cool that her face has ended up on playline dolls. She actually started appearing as Fashionistas and Mermaids before Mattel released the actual Samantha Christoforetti doll for purchase. Mattel also made a one-off doll for Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina and I have been looking for her face on playline dolls too. I think I might have found a few, but you know Barbie can look very different depending on her faceup. I am a HUGE Samantha stan, so I have been collecting all the dolls with her face. She hadn't even known that Mattel was using it until I told her!!

Mattel totally missed an opportunity at making those shirts removable. I guarantee more people would buy these if they could also have the shirts as an accessory. The first Cutie Reveal series didn't have sewn on shirts, and they were okay. So... yeah. And with the top of the animal shirt being reversible as a jacket, that would have been great to have the t-shirt go underneath it. Your Hello Kitty idea is genius! If they do that, I'm all over it!

I think it would have to be made of resin tho and that isn’t very flexible for doll shoes, I have seen a doll customized make shoes from a shoe mound but idk what materials they used

I did my first try on food mini brands and purse & it was kind of fun, I am so gonna give it another go cause my niece & I are gonna try on getting the mini brands of food we need. Excellent idea to change the costumes to Pj's, I bet you can totally make either a mascot costume for your dolls or Pj's of Hello Kittie's for your dolls don't hurt to try. See you next time Toya.
