I don’t know why they gelled his hair when the artwork shows him with his hair blowing in the wind! OMG! The Lookbook was jaw dropping gorgeous! Literally GORGEOUS! He looked sensational! SENSATIONAL! His hair, his headgear, his pastel panache! Arjen, you outdid yourself! The last look was my favorite too. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻

@@jiggerblayne …. Look at how beautifully his hair turned out after the gel was removed. The Ken dolls with shorter hair often are problematic but this Ken has longer hair which was soft and easy to comb. I think, at times, doll manufacturers make decisions based on what’s easiest, not aesthetically pleasing to the customer. I’m just so pleased Arjen took this Ken to the next level of perfection. He’s the very best Barbie enthusiast on KZfaq and I so love each and every one of his videos. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻

@@carolmorris2705 I’m not saying the gel looks good it’s just used to keep it a certain way in transit. It’s gonna be sitting for days or months in box, they put the gell to keep it down and not look unpresentable in box. Your supposed to wash it out after or I guess keep it that way if you really want but most are gonna wash it out.

I love this Ken more than any other Ken. The outfit is perfect and the cute accessories are perfect! I've had him for a month sitting in a mid century chair on my desk with his cocktail, like he's waiting on his flight. And more so because I have been applying for jobs in Florida. Ken says, ""Hurry up and get that job girl! We have to get to the beach! I liked your last look the best. Thanks for another fun time together.

I love how so many Curvy pieces can fit Ken. He is really the best in this line. I like the articulated body that he came with. I just wish it had ankle articulation. Or just give us Made to Move. I never understood why Mattel is so stingy with articulation.

It is really touching to me to imagine one of the young boys today collecting dolls getting to see the shoes and all the little details they gave him. I was eyeing him and might need him. That Hello Kitty look was so sweet, and the final, and I died over the pink hat as well. He is just too cute. “Enough fooling around, Ken. Time to get EXTRA Cute.” 🤣 Edit: it’s definitely the best one I’ve seen you do so far and the final look is completely killer. I know I’ll be rewatching this one a lot; I just like the looks and the video.

Another wonderful makeover! My favorite look is the last one. 😍 I love this Extra Fly Ken so much. Nice to see him wearing clothes + accessories that are actually cute and stylish (instead of the usual “surfer dude” aesthetic) for a change. Hopefully we’ll see more “Extra” Ken dolls in all kinds of skin tones in the future. ❤

Wow! Fabulous looks! My favorite was the first one. We DEFINATELY need more Barbie Extra Fly Ken's. Of course I had to have him. LOL I never thought Ken as an accessory. To me he's always been Barbie's number one flame. 🙂 But then I was 3 when they met. LOL I WAS 6 when I was given my first red headed bubble cut Barbie. I didn't get my first Ken until they released Malibu Ken in 1978. I was 20 and was hiding my "obsession" since I was supposed to be grown up by that time. Lord I'm so old! Ugh! Still love the doll and still have a few of my older ones. Ken went surfing and disappeared.🙂

Love this video and the final look! I've had Extra Fly Ken for the past couple of months and he immediately became a favorite (after I de-gelled his hair, lol). Love his clothes, bag and accessories. He just has so much personality! He's currently playing the guitar at the Barbie/Ken beach luau I set up in the bookshelf next to my desk...😄

This Ken is stunning!😍 I think lately Ken dolls are even better, and more interesting than Barbies 🤔which is awesome for the buyers and collectors.🤩🥰 I mean the most common Barbies on the market looks pretty same - lack of articulation, Millie facemold, printed or cheap clothes. You are so right. ABOUT TIME! I am so blown away by the looks…especially the last two. This doll invites story telling…I could see his character developing in your video and in my stories. The looks inspired me and expanded the possibilities…he is so much fun. I named him Sharad and I love him so much. Some dolls just invite story telling and character development.

Wow, Arjen! That was FUN! My fave was the Pokemon Gym Leader. I love how Jigglypuff crashed the party! Actually, I just love the entirety of the Lookbook segment! Please let me know if original body can spread legs? When they made this body for fashionista it couldn't spread legs, then they made same body with legs that spread but stiff arms and legs...😡. Did they fix that bug now? I really want to know the name of the person who made those legs not spreadable, hunt them down, look them in eyes and ask WHY????

@@Barbination Mattel guy, or mattel gurl, who designed these hip joints, you should be ashamed of yourself ☝🧐👎...Thank you for letting me know. For this I will probably not buy this miss gurl K release. I don't like products that aren't perfect in design. I have to many Barbies and Kens for my age and gender so I decided to buy only if they make something perfect 😁. Thanks for the info.

@@Barbination Like I don't understand. It takes same amount of plastic and same production process to make them right and to make them wrong. It is only matter of fact that someone in design team of a 50 year old tradition "forgot" to adjust joint so it can also spread. It is a shameful thing from design point of view. A waist of resources and waist of opportunities for laziness or shallowness during design process. I know it's just a plastic joint on a "useless" dummy but it is showing what is wrong with the word. We do things fast without thinking enough and destroying environment for not perfect outputs. Design needs to be perfect and to last. This one is wrong in it's basic core and the one who made it should be ashamed. Almost perfect is worse than nothing at all.
