I had all of the wonder fairy dolls but sold them to take care of my girls (single mom duty yo) I mis those doll. I had a couple of the crystal fairy dolls too. I loved all of the looks, but my absolute favorite was Mini Arjen’s popped collar. 😂❤ It took me back to my first few years teaching high school. I remembered being baffled to see boys wearing popped collars, sometimes multiple layered popped collars. Those kids were so cool 😎

It’s nice to have the face variants the Millie girl is like Skipper as Barbie’s age and the seasonal outfits we get more of the older sister appearance. Walmart has fashion packs with good designs. There’s the tinge of the 9/11 event with the Y2K it affected lots of families that moved out of N. Y prior as well as the people living there. Then came hurricane Katrina and I had no contact with the people I knew anymore.

I have hundreds of vintage Barbie’s, NAKED… I get one out of the box and restyle them a couple times a week. I just have a hard time trying to identifying them. I do research on every single girl I take out. I have found so many treasures ❤ I found the Patton pending midge and original Stacey. And the original scooter doll. I just love Barbie’s and you, you are a inspiration

The opening with that pretty music and all of the magical fairy girls was actually moving to me. I got a little misty eyed. We all need pretty magic like this in our lives. These dolls weren't from my childhood. But like you, I agree that they're really beautiful dolls, especially the mermaids. Though we have had some great mermaids this year, still if you try to compare, there's no comparison to these 2000's girls. Truly 2000's fashions make me want to hurl. LOL Not the dolls, they're incredible in that time period, I just really don't like the clothes... and Paris Hilton. Yuck. So just personal preference, I didn't like the fashions except for the Galaxy Girl and that gets the chef's kiss. That was such a perfect pairing with that doll. I loved the way you brought her streaks together in the front of her hair. It so reminded me of 1983's Crystal Barbie's belt. So, SO pretty, the whole look! But I really love all the Astro fashions line, and the Astronaut Barbie of 1985. It's not practical or realistic, and that's why I love it. Like they said in the Barbie movie, "Yay Space!" BTW, where did you get all of that neat Barbie music in the background?

They were BEAUTIFUL ❤. For me, it would be PERFECT if I had placed them on the articulated body of the old fashionistas from 2009 🙏... they are basically the belly button (the one you used) BUT articulated 😍, the same mold, the same proportions, but articulated. For me, it's Barbie's MOST beautiful body. With the BEST appearance, better proportions, delicacy and body shapes of arms, hands, legs, hips, EVERYTHING 🙏😍🙏. Not to mention the quality and material and the commitment to making good joints, beautiful and well made.

I had the redhead when I was a teenager (14 years old) but mine had eye defects....these two fairies (3 actually including the black one in yellow that you don't have) UNFORTUNATELY here in Brazil ALL of them had eye defects. I THINK that Mattel ALWAYS sent/sends to this day the most defective Barbies to Latin America (as if they were disposing of rubbish here) because I ALWAYS realized that the dolls that I always see are PERFECT in the United States and Europe, HERE in America Latina has defects 🤡, those that would not pass quality control are sent HERE. Anyway... ALL of these two that I kept looking at in stores had bad eyes, one bigger than the other on a monstrous level, or squinting, or crooked eyes, COMPLETELY bad implanted eyelashes, I tried to choose the least worst... now the blonde, I could NEVER find a less bad one, that's why I NEVER bought it, because I refused to have a HORRIBLE version of a doll that I always saw BEAUTIFUL in videos from other North American and European collectors 😷
