I'm SO passionate about Fashion Fever...almost as much as My Scene :3 The doll is actually Lea, she's often misnamed as Kayla, it's a bit confusing lol IMO Fashion Fever is Barbie's best line period. Their fashion game was CRAZY. I still have a few Fashion Fever girls from childhood, my older sister had a ton! They're glorious for someone who's interested in genuine 2000s fashion AND Barbie dolls like me xx Congrats on the deal, the Modern Trends collection is on of their best! Glad you're finally getting into them now :)

I'm so excited for you, these are some amazing finds for great prices! Fashion Fever is my all-time FAVORITE Barbie line (I grew up with them like you did), so I'm super stoked that you made a video about them!! Usually Fashion Fever dolls had the names on their boxes, but for some reason the Modern Trends branch did not. The original in-box doll also included a two-sided poster! I hope you can find the rest of the dolls you're looking for.

I kept one of the Fashion Fever tubes after unboxing the doll and I've been filling it with all my Barbie brushes. I don't use the brushes, so it works great as a way to display them. Those little plastic purses are one of my favorite Barbie purse molds. So cute!

WOW, WOW WOW!!! Please do more, if you can, on the Barbie fashion fever dolls! They were so AMAZING, especially now when play line Barbie dolls are boring, low quality and the only innovative things I can see are the high variety of head sculpts. I really enjoyed this review and it's sparked my interest in these dolls again because I took them for granted and didn't follow my Instincts to buy them when they were readily available. I can not praise this particular review enough and I hope to see more from you in the future. Thanks again! As always a GREAT review!

Thanks for the review, finally I figured what doll I have. Couple a months ago I went thrifting and found her. She only came with her earrings, thought she was a gothic doll cause of her makeup is so unique, she grab my attention and took her home. I tried to figure out who she was no luck, until now. Now I know she is a fashion fever doll. I redressed her as a Halloween barbie, she's is one my favorite dolls in my collection.

Fashion Fever is my favourite Barbie non-movie line omg 🥺 the nostalgia is too strong here. Forever kicking myself for not getting more when they were out ah. Such a pretty doll and fashions!! The blonde Make up Chic has to be my favourite from Fashion Fever of all time - it’s estimate to how I kept her outfit (rip to her tiara and necklace tho) because that was a rarity for child me to actually do lol

Omg! Something very similar happened to me with Mercari for the fashion Fever dolls . 😩 However, when I was moving from New York to North Carolina,I had a huge box fashion fever and Generation girl dolls that ended up missing. I mean a whole series of both dolls 😭😭😭. So, now I try to find when I can for a decent price. However, one thing I noticed is that the quality of the clothing and the accessories were amazing back then. I really miss that

So awesome you still got her after that horrible person. People who do shady things like that make me sad. She's so pretty. I still love the rhinestone jeans trend. I still wear them. Lol. Some trends are just too fun to give up. We have the fashion fever with a tweed trench coat. She's pretty. I highly recommend her if you come across her for a reasonable price. I wish we had gotten more when they were in stores.

It's funny how that happens. I remember trying to buy a doll and I tried to bargain with the person I was trying to buy off of Facebook and they said to check on eBay and that everything cost the same as what they were selling for. I went on eBay got the same doll half the price. It's very satisfying I left them a message telling them and not long after they reduced their item on Facebook market slightly and to this day they still haven't sold it

Yesterday we went to a toy swapmeet and I had to have Barbie as Rapunzel doll still on her backcard for only 10 bucks ..finally have 90s skateboard skipper with articulated body .. I love skipper sooo much

The blonde doll that you put in the outfit is the Barbie from Magic of Pegasus I believe. Might want to check it out. She is a gorgeous doll regardless. So excited for you!

Wrap tissue paper around the hands when you put on cloths that the hands would get caught up on. It makes it easier to slide on.

I usually do scotch tape if it’s difficult since I can SQUEEZE the hands smaller with it aha! It’s super necessary for winx dolls and their tiny sleeves sometimes

I hate sellers that do that. They're so rude about it and won't admit they're wrong or be nice about if your wrong. Like it's so annoying cuz they don't care about the seller all the care about is money and it's sad (and don't get me wrong that's why your selling the doll is for money and that's ok (if it's a reasonable price) but it's sad that they don't care about ripping ppl off or not caring about ppl it surprises me how much our economy and ppl have fallen and become so selfish)

In Canada we can use cross border shippers, you would pay for USPS postage, it's then transported across the border and the rest of the way is USPS. It's a lot cheaper than using Canada Post for sending packages to the US.

The hating payinng for shipping on one item is really smart. I JUST started collecting dolls, and I was like way too excited to find a Project MC2 doll I needed, a bunch were like $20+ with shipping and like, yes I'm happy to have the ones I have, but they did not need to be that expensive and I kinda feel dumb.

OMG, if I waited to find things at original retail, I'd never buy a doll! But then I do collect dolls from the 60s and 70s mainly...LOL But thankfully there is Rainbow High for the cheap(ish, here in the UK) dolly fix...

Oh you absolutely would buy dolls. I have well over 1,000 dolls and the majority were purchased at or substantially below original retail. And I find plenty from the 60’s and 70’s that I just pass up due to disinterest. It’s about knowing where to look

I love Fashion Fever!! Maybe it's because it's my first barbie that I can play with and not keep in box 💀😭😭 I had the one with silver eyes! I forgot her actual name tho I named her Summer (maybe that was the actual name?🤔) and then it became Silver 😆

@@xCanadensis Yes!! And you can see the doll in a lot of angles even in box! Also really good for gifting to kids at that time LMAO No arguements about getting a different doll cuz they have the same box and casual look! Except for me who saw that my sister got someone with a pink hair streak 😆

You might try wrapping the hands in plastics or the corner of a sandwich bag so the hand won’t snag clothing.

I had no issue which is why I specifically praised the piece in the video for being lined. I use scotch tape if I absolutely must but, again, it wasn’t an issue in this instance

I did!! Mercari didn’t do anything but accept my return. The seller threatened me multiple times and harassed me on Facebook and twitter for posting a buyer beware. Really sad

@@xCanadensis As a reseller, I apologize for their behavior. I would never berate a customer or harass them. A non doll collector would not know that the dolls were worth even that. It’s not a good business practice and they will get their karma.

@@sierradanielleAK it sucked. I bought them because… around $130 for 6 was a great deal! Not an unheard of deal but a pretty good one. Then I get three and after messaging the seller asking wtf and asking for a return he berated me for being cheap and told me I should have known that deal was too good to be true and all of this crazy BS. Like… they’re Barbie dolls. They’re not made of gold. The majority of Barbie dolls (even the expensive/sought after ones) can pretty easily be bought for $20 or less lol. He was way out of line. He changed all of his Mercari info to try to avoid accountability too. Still a seller on eBay and Mercari and Mercari didn’t allow me to leave feedback because I got a return instead.

I have a problem now with my doll collections I keep some of my dolls and bins from my childhood that aren’t in good condition but the ones I bought that are in good condition I want to display them in my room but I live in apartment and it’s really hard to do that and keep awesome my room clean since some of the dolls and three boxes I camped from the dolls that I wanted to find them do you have any suggestion on how to display dolls for people who like to collect dolls but live in apartment and have nowhere to display them?

2000s was an era of expression so parents but not all can quite support their kids, so their clothes are not really disturbing anything but nowadays wenhave karens and racist people, they think these things can affect their minds, how silly lol😂
