Oh no ! The glasses came with the doll! they are brown with blue lenses, my doll came exactly like yours, a really damage box but the glasses were on the envelope ,out of the box!I was lucky enough, Amazon was really rude with my barbie

I have been looking for some of the vintage Barbie clothes.. I cannot believe the prices. I saw the Poodle Parade vintage outfit for $375.00. Truly amazes me. So I am sure there might be some differences with the repro fashion, but I agree with you on this. I am looking for this as well. So thank you for doing these videos as they are very informative. I have this doll and you’re right, her hair is horrendous! Mine has a weird undercut with long pieces at the center part. Luckily the outfit is very nice! Love your videos, btw! ♥️

My reproduction came with sunglasses. Whatever had attached it to the packaging fell apart so maybe your sunglasses fell out of the damaged box?

I got this when it first came out and like you I buy them for the fashions The quality of the repro dolls sometimes isn't so great or vice versa I'm glad you showed her I have the Fashion Luncheon repro ( a repro redhead American Girl The hat has frayed somewhat) otherwise the quality of the outfit is great

The outfit is fantastic! At this point, it would be great if Mattel ceased producing dolls and just sold fashion packs (new and old). i just don't trust them to make a good doll anymore. i'm looking at the doll in the video and the 1998 reproduction Francie doll comes to mind. i hate the way that Francie doll turned out. i don't own one and have never even touched one, but hearing your description of the hair on Poodle Parade confirms my suspicions.

My Poodle Parade repro came with sunglasses

Mattel's first barbie reproduction dolls (1990s) were kind of crappy even some of the fashions. However this older reproduction outfit is one of the better old repro outfits. The one I have came with the brown sunglasses -but they're really crappy -so I took a pair of later repro sunglasses & painted the frames brown.
