I miss high quality 2001 to 2013 dolls they used to be fully articulated and had really nice clothing with amazing accessories

The fashion packs are expensive. $10 for 1 outfit, when the regular fashion packs have 2 outfits for $10. Once again, Mattel should skip the pets and improve articulations and 2 outfits for $10.

@@shinaazkoeberg2876 Most toy shops in south africa sell barbie dolls for 200 rand and upwards.Only certain places sell them for 100 bucks. As for their clothing, At toys r us they retail for about the same price as human sized clothing 😠

I really miss real hairs for ken and most of the male dolls. They had that when i was a kid and i still have a big bunch of the old dolls and outfits. Comparing those dolls to the ones, i see in your wonderful presentation (i really love your channel) they do loose because it seams they do miss some of the details.

My little nice loves the pets, i dont think all dolls need articulation tho, as a aunt that had to replace some dolls becaus my nice was ruffhousing and barbies knee or leg broke off i can tell you that. Not all kids are ready for more bendy barbies. However i do wish they were a tiny bit less expensive,they dont even have pop and bend legs anymore.

Cost efficiency is the issue. Also that would hike up the selling price very fast. You'd be surprised at how some tiny details can actually increase complexity and then augment the manufacturing + sale price. (Im an industrial design /product design technician)

I miss the classic movie barbies like Swan lake, rapunzel, princess and the pauper, and the Pegasus. Those were my favorites. I had the entire collections of every series and they were such great quality that I was able to pass them down to my cousin and she even passed them all down to her cousin!

I think it’s cool that in dream house adventures, Barbie and Ken are childhood besties, and aren’t a couple. It shows young girls that they don’t need a boy to get somewhere in life!

I know Barbie is trying to be modern but I much prefer the fantasy historical inspired fairy tales movies and dolls. Annalise, Erika, Annika, Odette, and Rapunzel were so stunning and creative dolls. These princess dolls now just look like Barbie Fashionistas with a princess inspired look.

the fashion packs and the slumber party gift set is a must have just because of the outfits. i wish for more articulation than the basic five. i wish that all dolls are made to move like my made to move xena dolls, my made to move ken doll ( who i renamed john) my made to move wonder woman. yeah.... made to move is awesome.

The video is awesome! Though I’m still sad over the quality of these new dolls. I compare them to my old dolls like the princess and the pauper and it’s just sad to see how little they care now. Perhaps that’s just me though
