Amazing work as always and ngl the hair works with the outfit well, giving her this 70's to 90's small town girl goin out for a night on the town kinda vibe and big crazy voluptuous curls were a big thing back then and though barbies are the most common in my area they'll still be my favorite to thrift and restore because even when they've been well played with, they're easy to restore and their hair is sturdy with maybe a few pieces coming out if you yank on the comb or detangle the hair when it's dry. Other dolls do have a lot goin for em but barbies are almost always built to last for decades. Love the restyle and the work keeping her thriving for more years to come

Odler barbies have the hardest hair to style. I always boil water then add a teeny bit of liquid fabric softner. Two dips and the hair come out so flawless!

omg just found your channel, i remember the doll with the curls the first one you were working on. it's not her priginal body but still looks great she's the nutcracker movie barbie, she had a crown and a ballet style foot but it looks like she was given another body, her hair is super gorgeous but it does shed a lot when restoring it. I worked with three of these in the past and her hair sheds like crazy. I love the whole look you did in the end it's almost like a all back to the 80's there's a fashion trend going on i forget what they named it but it's literally 80's meet modern and this look reminds me of it. it's fun, cute and the half upstyle really sells it.

If you use hot water and fabric softener it loosens the hair a little bit easier. Smells good too
