There is no doubt in my mind that Barbie continues to be the most outstanding of all fashion dolls. I received my first Barbie when I was 10 in 1960. I just purchased 2 Barbie Extra dolls for Christmas. Glad your video popped up on my home page. Happy Holidays!

You guys have to remember . In the 80s and 90s Europe got all the amazing playsets and dollhouses that the u.s.a never got ! Literally 100s of playsets !!! We never saw in the u.s.a. And not small ones . You got huge mega sets !!! Too many to catalog ! Back in 92 i was a big barbie collector with over sea friends and he send me the catalogs he got with his dolls . Stuff that will never see the light of the internet . Not everything survived the 80s and 90s . But what a treat to know iv seen playsets 99 percent of people in the u.s.a never even got to see or ever will .

I grew up like almost everyday I would played with barbie and make clothing for her out of scrap fabrics . 30 yrs later I didn't realized how much of barbie influences me on the way I choose my styles of hair, makeup , the way I dress from head to toe when I go out or in photoshoot ... Doesn't matters how old I am I always have that girlie fun side of me

The Looks you did are amazing!!!! you find the cutest things like that white hat, thank you for always including the MTM body matches really helps, I have been trying to match a 90's doll that I want to bring back to life with a reroot and a MTM body, want an original body and the best match is the curvy body and I even bought a Peach MTM girl (scalped I know) that I thought would match her but didn't, still not giving up! I will get my MTM 90's girl! lol she might math the Latina Barbie Looks girl, or the soccer player I have her MIB and don;t want to risk opening her in case she's not a match. You also got me hooked on the Knee high socks I made a couple of pairs also. Hello Arjen you inspired me to buy the latina holiday, I saw her in the video and she is beautiful.

I really want to buy the redhead one and have her trade dresses with the Evening Flame Barbie from 1991. It has such a nice quality dress probably my favorite of the big puffy dresses from the 90s. No added stuff just a shawl that can easily be taken off. Really glad I took her out of box recently. Also if any one wants that holiday repro with the red dress advent calender I saw her at Target for $150.

I feel ya ! For years I've been so upset that other countries would get dolls we didn't even know existed, particularly Japan. I finally got the Walmart redhead ! I missed the first time around, when it ended up costing ninety dollars. But just last week I saw it came back for thirty five, so I jumped right on it ! You and I are sooo alike- I collect dolls, doll houses, make doll houses and decorate them differently (for whatever doll family lives in them). Currently I have 15 doll houses.
