Arjen, when I first saw this doll I thought she was awful! I hated the "potato sack dress" as I call them that they put on these curvy dolls. Mattel should be ashamed of the way they dress these girls. I have mine in leggings that I purchased on Etsy and love the way they turn out. As for this doll my thought was "No way am I getting her" , then you got her and redid her. Arjen tbh I am in shock and awe of what you did with her!! She is super "Extra" now and I will probably break down and get her and dress her similar to the way you did her in the shorts outfit. I don't have the bear cover so can't do that one. Sometimes I didn't know that the Neysa facemold is the same as the Teresa facemold because I have the Va Va Violet, Love The Lace, Sweetheart Stripes, Floral Frills, #112, and #177 Fashionista Dolls, and they all have the Neysa/Teresa face.

I just wanted to point out that the fox is actually a German Shepard puppy 😊 same coloring, pointy ears plus the German Shepard fluffy tail!!!! So cute! ❤❤❤

I have my #18 styled wearing the shorts from your first look. I have the shorts paired with the purple crop top (undershirt) from extra 7 and I kept the oversized black & white checked jacket. I completed the look with turquoise ankle boots. None of my other shoes I have would fit her curvy doll size foot except some tan boots. I washed and conditioned her hair but I kept her in her original hairstyle. You are so talented and I wish I was as good at styling hair as you. My hands never do what my brain tells them to do. I found it slightly difficult to even rebraid extra 17 which I only did because I discovered during unboxing that the top of one braid was undone. I also noticed there was a little bald spot along the back part line so I had to rethatch that portion of the part. I am super impressed and kind of jealous of your wonderful inventory of Barbie fashion. I love your videos and live vicariously through them.

I loved the first look, that was my favorite. I was thinking exactly what you said that it stayed with her sporty vibe and showed off her curves. I'm starting to understand how you approach doing the hair. I'm like guessing as you wash and show us the direction you are thinking to go with. Feels good to get it right. The second look did it for me, but I guess that is because I really don't like pants on women. It's an attractiveness thing for me. Short story, back when me and my ex girlfriend was living together. I had a rule where she couldn't where pants in the house 😆 I'm not a monster if you were think it. Just my preference is all. Not going into more details if you get what I mean.😉 The last look was not bad too. I'm just not into the sporty thing for some reason, I can't remember at the moment. Fabulous makeovers! Thae new hairstyle was complicated but came out great. I love green and purple together, in fact, I'm wearing that combination today! But her original outfit was a fail. Also her hair looks like it’s not great quality, It looks like that plastic fishnet garlic and onions are packed in. I think her pet is a German Shepherd, though it could also be a fox.

The majority of these extra dolls have dark scalps and light coloured hair making styling challenging the covering dark spaces. I have been disappointed with this line for that reason. And Mattel, why not fully articulate these dolls?
