The Inter squad which won the treble featured 4 important Argentinian players Milito, Zanetti, Cambiasso and Samuel. Any sane coach would’ve included them all in their starting eleven. Maradona either didn’t include them or included them merely as squad players.

Da milanista, un fenomeno sottovalutato. Attaccante completo, tecnico, forte di testa e sopratutto decisivo in tutti i momenti importanti

Avrebbe meritato il pallone d'oro quella stagione .... 1. Capocannoniere dell'Inter 2. Gol decisivo nella partita campionato contro il Siena 3. Gol decisivo nella finale di coppa Italia 4. Gol in ogni fase della Champions League, Ottavi, quarti, semifinale, finale 5. Doppietta decisiva in finale di CL 6. Goal in entrambi i derby contro il Milan Onestamente, cosa avrebbe dovuto fare di più? Forse essere come Pelè, Maradona o Van Basten, giocatori inimitabili? Considerando che lo vinse Messi, che quella stagione fu molto meno decisivo di Milito ..... direi che fu un vero e proprio furto.

@@alessandroartoni7527 purtroppo quell'anno fu la sua prima grande opportunità in una grande squadra .... comunque, da Interista .. contro il Tottenham forza Milan! Mille volte meglio tifare per una delle squadre con cui si è cresciuti. Capisco 20 o 30 anni fa, ma in questo mondo globalizzato tifare per le italiane ha più senso che gufarle. Speriamo che un giorno la Serie A torni ai massimi livelli

@@Stefano2071 Concordo. l'Italia tra l'altro è stata distrutta proprio nel momento in cui si è voluta globalizzare ad ogni costo. Quando eravamo attaccati alle nostre radici eravamo tra le prime 4 nazioni al mondo e calcisticamente il miglior campionato di tutta Europa

Che ricordi. Milanista ma quell'anno simpatizzai troppo per l'Inter di Mou, uno squadrone formidabile che culminò con quel triplete magico che, parere personale, resterà imbattuto da chiunque. Milito sembrava dovesse essere un comprimario quell'anno, invece fu decisivo in tutti i momenti importanti e si rivelò un campione di livello assoluto. In quella stagione, a 30 anni compiuti, coronò quello che era sempre stato il suo sogno, diventare campione d'Europa. Avrebbe meritato il pallone d'oro ma i corrotti di France Football non ci pensarono neanche e lo diedero a Messi, un premio totalmente immeritato
