The Barceló Solymar hotel (previously known as Barceló Solymar Arenas Blancas Resort) part of the Varadero Resort complex by Barceló is located right on the seafront in Varadero, the most famous tourist destination in Cuba. I just got back from varadero on Tuesday. We stayed at Sirenis tropical. We did the hop on hop off bus tour and we saw this resort and the building is now white not yellow. We loved it in Cuba and can’t wait to go back we’re thinking of making it a yearly trip once a year ❤️🇨🇺

Maravillosa estancia , la pasamos mi familia y yo de Maravilla un colectivo de primera , con sentido de pertenencia sobre todo Katerine j fa del Restaurante, Elizabet, camarera, Kely atención al cliente todas ellas excelentes trabajadoras, dieron un toque de satisfacción a nuestra estancia del 30 de Diciembre al 1 de aEnero del 2023 experiencia reciente un fin de año Maravilloso, ah y la , fabulosa comida servicio de primera, Felicidades Irasema

I visited this resort in October 2019 so it was before the pandemic. I really couldn’t say anything positive about it. They moved us three times because of all the ants crawling around our room. The main pool you show the water is only up to your knees so not a very relaxing place to have a nice swim. We would go to the pool at the sister hotel but even though it had the depth it was very dirty broken tiles everywhere. People can only see the good things when you only show the beautiful beach and the resort as you film walking through. They had major food shortages several days there was no beer. We even went to the store to get beer there wasn’t any. The food that was there was not very good so we expected that going to Cuba what we didn’t expect was the shortages and how badly some, not all, of the food tasted. I’m not saying I won’t go back to Cuba I will but I will make sure the hotel I go to has a five star review. And I speak to people who have been there. Thanks for the video.

Que pena una gran infraestructura, trabajafores amables pero mal gestionado, no habían toallas. 1 solo ascensor, luces en las habitaciones ausentes. Solo aire acondicionado en habitaciones y el bufete muy deficiente.

Just came back from this hotel and prior to going. Watched Jeff’s video. I regret watching this video because everything he said was not true. Just came back from this hotel where we had no beach towels for four days. Were they ran out of beer and pop almost every day where they were cockroaches in the room coming up from the drains. The beer fridge was not stocked. There was only water in there. I would suggest you do not follow Jeff Leppard’s videos or else you might regret it like we did. He’s like a real estate agent that shows you all the nice places in the house, but doesn’t show you all the holes in the place.

The worst hotel I’ve been ever. Service garbage the air conditioner nearly didn’t work,the bed garbage , the food don’t even go there. Except the beach I did not like any thing else. I forgot to mention if u didn’t show the money forget the food 😅
