To take on Barcelona, in their own Backyard, who have only dropped 2 points all Season, with a goal difference of 102 scored and only 6 conceded, just shows how far Chelsea W have come since the loss in the Final 2020/21. In fact Hampton was hardly troubled and to keep Barcelona so quiet is some feat and that Chelsea W Back-Line was phenomenal. I love Cuthbert, she is to that Chelsea W Team, what Kante was to the Men’s and she has one hell of an engine on her. I like Ramirez too, strong, skilful, but her finishing leaves a lot to be desired and it needs work. Pass what the long debate was on that offside, when the penalty was given, you could see with the naked eye that she was offside. If anything, from where I was, I thought Ramirez should have had one. Big shout out to the Ref also. She is a better Ref than 99% of Men. On a footnote, I love James, without doubt THE best Player in the WSL, but she really must learn to look at what is around her before taking on a shot. Far too many times she shoots when a pass would be better. Can they win this thing? What a send-off present that would be for Emma Hayes and I am sure all those that follow the Women’s Game and support CFCW, would gladly swap every other trophy this Season for this one
