Honest to god my favourite band ever, thank god for having a 60 year old biker father to show me real fuckin music

How relevant is this song now? The lyrics are so true!

Bought the album back in 70's when proper music was written and it's still one of the greatest albums ever recorded. This trio of tracks was occasionally played on Radio Caroline and the emotion in the music hit me straight between the ears and still does the business nearly 40 years later. This band should be up there with the greats.

Ich liebe "Time Honoured Ghosts" und "Everyone Is Everybody Else". All this moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Astounding music from probably the most under rated band of all time. I have always considered these three songs to actually comprise one single masterpiece, to be played together, just as they were on the album. They have been on hundreds of play lists I have made over the years, I never get tired of them. Thanks for posting this!!

Yup ... 100% agree ... must be played as a "suite" ... would love to hear this as a complete song when I travel down from Aberdeen to see John Lees an co at the gig in Manchester next month ... BJH had / still have some awesome songs in their catalogue ... one of my "go to" bands ... CMcG, Aberdeen, Scotland

America was mostly a huge, untapped dustbowl when the English Industrial Revolution occurred and its mills were churning out iron and cotton products for distribution around the globe... it's so clear that The Eagles' music fed off many influences from English folk, rock and pop... but I'll grant you that the Country & Western (I lurve my horse and guns) is all yours 😉

Clearly summat to be proud of if you come from Oldham or any of the other mill towns of Lancashire that once were the backbone of this country. References to Shaw Road, the number 12 bus (Lees even pronounces it 'buz' like a proper Owdhamer!) and Tandle Hill (Tangs) make the song a bit more personal to us Roughyeds. We are mill boys stuck on the hill boys!
