In the haunting shadows of 1920s London, where the line between the living and the dead blurs, private detective Christian Le Cozh faces a case as enigmatic as it is deadly. A desperate man's claim-that his deceased wife still walks the earth-draws Christian into the heart of a sinister mystery that threatens to drag him into the abyss.
With the help of an eccentric Austrian professor and a tormented socialite with secrets of her own, Christian navigates a maze of chilling discoveries and deceit. As they race against time, a web of noirish horror unravels, revealing a city teeming with dark forces and malevolent spirits.
Will Christian's pursuit of truth be his salvation or his undoing? In a city that never sleeps and where danger shadows every alley, finding the answer might cost him more than his soul.
Unreal City is a masterful blend of suspense and horror, perfect for fans of The Alienist and Penny Dreadful. Dive into this riveting tale that promises to keep you gripped with every spine-tingling page.

This was released before in chapters, but it now seems to me that people prefer the long stories to come out as one long story (not in bits). People have been asking for me to narrate the sequel: City of Light set in Paris. However, the chapters fell a bit flat so I wanted to see if these showed there was enough interest.

Excellent story, Tony! I was captivated to the very end. I love all the detailed descriptions, developments, the inclusion of fascinating esoterica and how the dual protagonists storylines converged. Tasmin was a wonderfully written female character!

An absolute banger of a story well told Tony. Your characters are unique and vivid. I also imagine your enjoyment representing the diverse and distinct accents. I am five hours in and reluctant to set it aside for sleep. Thank you for sharing your talents and I hope your transition into full time writing and narration is as rewarding as you imagined. Bravo, dear Tony! This tale is tremendous: I savored every word. Your attention to detail drives this fascinating take on the vampire mythos, perfectly combining both new (brilliant) elements and tradition. Le Cozh is the kind of character that rings true: equally flawed and capable ["...allow me to pretend that I'm a gentleman."]. A tale for the ages with a satisfying denoument.

Fantastic. I am so glad you re-released the story as it is my favorite modern vampire tale. I detest the vampire as romantic (outside of Buffy, as it was not only fun, but well made). The vampire is a horrible, selfish, hedonistic parasite and your story is the only one that gets it right.

This is a really good story. The moral ambiguity of all the characters is well done. I would encourage people to also listen to mike Bennett’s underwood and flinch. Really good vampire fiction for adults is hard to come by, so I don’t think it’s a matter of competition.
