I love your videos Arna. You are by far my favorite. I love how you talk about undertones and explain what undertones the foundation have because I’m extremely cool toned and nobody else on KZfaq seem to really talk about undertones. So I REALLLY appreciate your reviews. And I just love your attitude and whole demeanor. Your so beautiful and sweet but elegant at the same time. So thank you for all you do for us subscribers. Thank you!! I think it's because most beauty gurus don't care so much about the shade they buy, it's more about reviewing the formula. But because my channel is so focused around finding great beauty solutions for pale skin, the shade and it's undertone is so important for me to discuss x

I really appreciate it as well! I'm pale but neutral/warm toned, which seems really hard to shop around for, since most pale products = pink undertones. Finally got around to relaxing and watching this! I absolutely adore this foundation, on me it's still very skin like with good coverage. Perfect pale shade for my skin tone and I find with my dehydrated skin I never need to set it which is fantastic because I've found my skin never reacts well with powder although I am dying to try hourglass ambient light powder on my skin. Perfect review as usual. X

That s my problem too, foundation is too yellow and I need a pinkish hue. It s great you mentioned how it is more yellow than expected. Saves one from bad blind buys. 😊

I love this foundation! I have extremely oily skin and this is in my opinion the only foundation that doesnt actually look cakey or heavy on me at all. I dont find that it ever feels or looks like double wear on my skin. I also really love the complexion rescue, which feels like nothing.

That's good! perhaps on more oily skin it is less cakey :) I think normal to dry skin types will have more of my experience but so helpful to know how you experienced it xx

I actually wore this foundation for my evening wedding and it looked really great. I find this pretty weightless on my skin and it still lasts all day using about 2 pumps with a sponge. I add the Laura Mercier powder for a bit more satin finish. I have normal/dry skin so I have to use a moisturizing primer like the Too Faced Hangover but I don't find it clinging to any dryness. Don't know if this helps anyone out but it's just my personal experience. I've used this foundation for a few months.

Hello from Spain, I have a doubt "Fair 01" is lighter than "Porcelain 05"? I like the third tone😍and fourth too of your arm, please I don't understand 😣Can you write me the name of the third make up , I like much because is very clear and more yellow . I always have problems with the colors, they are dark, or pink and I don't like pink (until now I have used the lancome teint miracle 005). I need find the tone for skin cool, I am white like you, and I like it because it looks fairly natural on you. Thanks🙆🏼‍♀️

Have you tried the foundations from Idun Minerals, Arna? Their lightest shade Jorunn is quite nice. I have yet to try their newest forumla (Nordic Veil) which is supposed to be full coverage as opposed to their original foundation which gives light and beautifully natural coverage.

Hmmm I may get a sample of this one! Loved your review of it as always ☺️ I wanted to ask if you would consider doing a review on the Josie Marian Vibrancy foundation from Mecca! I recently got a sample of the shade 'Dynamic RG5' & it's so pale! It is an argan oil infused foundation but I am super oily skinned & I loved it! 🙌🏻 It's very good coverage too, I thought I'd ask if you've ever tried it, or if you'd consider reviewing it - I'd love to know your thoughts 😊💕 x

This shade turns very pink on me so it's interesting to see the difference on your skin. I loved this foundation when I first picked it up but I don't reach for it at all.

I tried this foundation once a couple of years ago but it didn't work for me. I think I'm going to try it again, bc everyone whom I I've ever heard from, regarding BarePro,, either in a review, or in person, talks about how long wearing it is, how it never lets them down!

You can actually put the foundation on your skin a little bit lighter and you get sort of a sheer coverage and then on the other hand, it is quite buildable. I love the filtering affect this has on my skin. I am in my 40s and I love it. I refresh my dry skin every couple of hours by taking along my travel size Too faced three in one hangover RX. I don’t even know I’m wearing foundation and in this video you said you can feel it. I guess it depends on how heavy you apply it and how dry your skin is and of course everyone is different!

I have oily cool toned skin, this does oxidize yellow on me but I add 3 drops of white mac face and body, it tones the yellow down. It lasts alot longer than most foundations on my oily skin.

I've been loving this one recently but the only thing is I think it might oxidize on me cause it matches perfectly when I apply it and then it doesn't match my neck like 30 mins later ... I'm thinking of trying some lightening drops in it and see if it matches better. Also I know you mentioned the Josie Maran one in your mature skin video but I was wondering what shade that is closest too? Like is it closer to the Lancôme, hourglass, this one or another , just for reference ? :)

I love my bareminerals bare pro foundation in truffle 29. It really goes with my skin tone, and first I used it as a contour with my makeup but recently I used it in my face which by the way my skin is combination of oil & dry. I ❤👄

Hmm...pale, neutral, and long lasting? I may have to try a sample & see if I can stand how it feels. How come Swan swatches darker than it blends out on the face? It does that to me too.

I have NO idea why Too Faced products do that!! it's so bizarre! Even my mum got a shock when I was doing my makeup at her house, and using that product & shade and then when I blended it out she was like "oh thank goodness that actually suits you once blended" haha and my mum is a bit of a makeup nube :-P

Hi Ama I am a new subscriber of yours and in 3 days I have watched almost all your videos. It is quite interesting as I am an albino which means world palest skin lol. I have been using this foundation for a while and I really love the colour as it perfectly matches my colour but at the end of the day I find this bit sticky on my face I can't see whether it breaks out or does not cover my pores but I feel bit sticky and bit heavy. Can you suggest me lightweight medium coverage for the palest skin. Would be great and I love all your reviews

😘😘 glad you’re enjoying my content :) I would suggest trying the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless in 102 Fair Porcelain (if you’re US based) or the Fenty Beauty Foundation in 100 as they’re similar :) they can both be built up to a medium full coverage, but the texture is thinner and if you apply with a damp sponge, it’ll look amazing!! Xx

I have the same problem with foundations rubbing off on my nose, this one is lovely for the first 4/5 hours but after that when your natural oils come through I find it does breakdown a bit on my nose and looks like it needs to be blended again if that makes sense? It doesn't accentuate pores or anything though and lasts really well everywhere else!

I have a similar problem. All foundations rub off my nose even though my skin is dry. I stopped putting any on & just use the nyx hd concealer on my nose. Pat some powder in with a damp sponge & problem solved.

The Hourglass Mineral Veil primer is what helps foundation work on my nose too. I have very dry skin but nothing every blended on my nose before I started using this primer around January this year.

I just tried a sample of this foundation today and OMG I freaking hate it! I found it hard to blend out with a brush or a sponge. I needed two layers to get full coverage. It is super heavy and you can definitely feel it on your skin!! I feel like this foundation looks yellow and made me look pinker around the chest area than I usually/actually do. I can't believe it says this would work for dry skin, this stuff made me look like I hadn't moisturized a day in my life just freaking awful!

Arna Alayne I am in doubt. I would go for 120 but people say It oxidizes a lot so, at the end, maybe 120 is a little dark for NC10, which didnt oxidize on me.

Maquiagem para Eles I'm NW10 and I got fenty 120, it doesn't oxidized is neutral-peach tone. 100-110 are suuuper fair. I'm always the lightest shade but these are nearly white.

Which foundation would you recommend for wearing in the evening? I need a new light/medium coverage which is satin to dewy for very pale skin with cool undertones & unfortunate bouts of "flushing"/rosacea (there's a medical cause for it which I'm having treated). I have very dry skin at the moment too, caused by the medical thing. If you've had experience with a light/medium coverage foundation with no SPF in it,or at least one that doesn't cause terrible flash-back lately, that is I'd be very grateful. 😉

I have a sample of this foundation which I've tried a few times...although the colour for me perfect, the formula on my skin was horrible, it had bugger all coverage, it sat into my pores (and mine are not big) . It looks so strange once dry. Definitely didn't like me skin. And I generally only use matte foundations and never had problems. It's a shame as the colour was perfect haha

Arna Alayne makeup companies will never be able to conquer all skin types haha - which is why there is a huge makeup industry. And this is why it’s important to try get samples especially for more expensive makeup - although I’m taking a risk with the Fenty haha - Sephora is too far for me to get a sample!

How does this feel with wrinkles. You look like you have none. For some reason the original powder has been causing wrinkles where I don’t have any. I usually use Burt’s bees bb cream light & light/ medium.

It behaves quite differently to the original powder! I would suggest looking up Hot&Flashy's review on it as she has more experience recommending products for skin with wrinkles (although for 50, she has bloody amazing skin haha!) xx

I don’t really have wrinkles. more dry skin but I use many great products and oils. It’s just been strange how the powder has been behaving. Usually I have to use a bb cream in certain areas. I have a great skin care routine. I find it behaving different than it used to.

Arna- that is so sweet of you. I have a lot of problems with foundation breaking down on me because of my oily skin. They gotta last at least 12+hours, but not be too heavy and I have fair skin with a cool undertone.

If you like a liquid to powder feel for your oily skin I love the Hourglass Immaculate foundation. I wear Porcelain but there are definitely a couple paler cooler shades. Following to see what Arna recommends too!

would 100% recommend grabbing a sample of the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24Hr Foundation - it's so gorgeously natural in finish but has a lot of coverage and really lasts a full day on me (especially when paired with the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer - seriously, invest in that miracle primer!!!). I wear shade 090 Ivoire in USA version which is equivalent to 008 here in Australia xx
