I'll be honest, I only tried one BNL album post-Page, and didn't care for it. But I do really like a lot of the stuff from Page's solo albums. His voice (and songwriting) is the biggest part of what drew me to BNL.

Honestly, I think it's up to Stephen page at this point to rejoin. He's kind of selfish and dark for bnl, but I would welcome him with open arms back to bnl if I were ed. He wrote and performed songs like "the old apartment" that has helped me through my breakup. Talented individual and one of the founding members that's been through dark times.

BNL singing “If I had a Million Dollars” is a piece of Canadiana. It’s goes so much deeper than it just being a song. There are some truly Canadian moments, and this song back in 1990 or whatever it was, that was Canada. The whole country sang it together.

Absolutely soul wrenching that these guys couldn't get over whatever split them apart. I feel like BNL are right up there with The Hip and Rush as Canadian royalty, and people often forget about them because it feels like they have been erased in many respects.

They bring smiles to so many people's faces. I had the chance to meet them back in the days along with so many other Canadian artists like 54-40, The Waltons, Gowan, Blue Rodeo, Our Ladypeace, Headstones, Chalk Circle, Moist, Respectables, Junkhouse, Vovoid, etc... Lots of good memories... I have a funny story for you here... This was at a Bar/Venue called Bourbon Street Club in QC, Canada. I went there to see Blue Rodeo and was very tired because I came back home from Toronto the same day (6hrs drive) + the drive to that venue. So I arrived and saw one of my good friends at the consol and learn he was their new tour manager. So we sat the consol to enjoy the show. After that, he invited me backstage (they had a big stage outside instead of using the small stage inside) and we chilled there for a few moments. Very nice guys! Then my friend asked me "Wanna see our home?" (It's the tour bus and that's the only true privacy a band has when touring except for the hotels from time to time). So we walk in, and there is Basil Donovan sitting on the front couch. My friend says: "xxxx this is Basil, our bass player. Basil, this is my good friend xxxx". And me, very tired to say... "Hi Bass!" You should have seen Basil's face... I let you guess what went through his mind at that moment LOL. I then said: "Sorry, it's one of those days.... long drive from TO to home, then to here to see you guys". We all had a good laugh. :D

Steven hinted at.... 'something'... on his recent tour. Not sure what that will mean. Maybe a one-off in the studio, or some benefit thing? Who knows. They seem to at least be mending fences, and it seems Steven is much more at peace with himself and his demons now.

This is such an uplifting experience in light of all the crap going on in the world right now. But BNL is not the same without Steven’s unique vocals and Ed and Steven’s chemistry on stage. I sure hope they decide to tour together again and give the thousands of fans what they are craving!! So many people were moved to tears when they watched the pure joy on stage. Life is too short. I got introduced to BNL way back in the early 90's from my college roommate at Mizzou who was from Grosse Ile, Michigan. Watched them live in St. Louis for the 1st time somewhere in there. Graduated from Mizzou in '96. BNL was playing a concert at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO sometime in 1997 I believe an evening before a dance party. Cost me $6 to get in to see them. Well really the concert was free but the dance party was $6. After their show, they came out and partied with us like we were rock stars. Such a fun time and great music.
