I just love Waterford everything and have since college days back in the 70's! Last year was my first time to the Waterford show room in Ireland and I was thrilled! I bought a lovely Fleur de Lys paper weight at the time. Since then I've found a bowl and shell vase from the Marquis line, both in perfect condition at our local Salvation Army store in San Diego County for under $6.00 each! Still grinning ear to ear! 😊😊

Your sterling lidded vase that you chose is stunning. Hawkes Crystal combined sterling silver with their crystal and is sometimes not marked.

Part 2 is every bit as fun as Part 1! So many things to covet and so many things to admire forever from afar. The hand carved clock is magnificent! What a grand home you would need to accommodate it! And the beautiful tiger oak sideboard at the end... So many affordably priced smaller pieces, too! It truly is the kind of place that is a destination. Thanks so much for bringing us here. Now I'm sorry that your daughter has finished school! 😂

Loved part 2. Lots of lively things. I once bought a cookie jar for $3.00 from a country thrift store and after research it turned out to be cut lead crystal worth $395.00 amazing what is out there usually when grandmother passes away and the family are disposing of the homes contents.

Great buy! As you mention, the family does not always realize the value of inherited items. I bought JFK’s tea cup from Air Force One at a charity thrift store. Took me years to realize what I had.

I would like to share a dream with you: Your KZfaq channel had prospered so much that you had an all expenses paid thrifting trip with you in Texas. I won and enjoyed the experience but had little money to spend. While leaving the final store, I was having a wonderful time just looking at everything. In the end of the dream, you began telling me to hurry because you needed to get me to the airport. I hope this dream encourages you.

Be still my heart. Thrilling to go along with you for this treasure hunt. Everything was very high end and well priced. Would love to shop there too. Mark is so lucky to get the Waterford sea horse. I will put that on my wish list for sure. The cut to clear glassware is scrumptious. The clock out of this world. The Chocolate Angel tearoom so delightful. I loved their wall of mirrors. To me fancy mirrors are like gems. Thank you for the tour.🤩

Hi, Mary Beth-what a great video, thank you! I am further convinced that we would be reaching for the same things. Last weekend, a friend and l went antiquing, and on a bottom shelf, ( in an incredibly dirty, jumbled booth) , l found an Imari basket. It was covered with dirt, yellow and sticky with nicotine. I checked carefully for damage, bought it, cleaned it, and now, it's on my coffee table, holding a silk arrangement. What luck!

I love the focus on so much crystal 😍 my weakness. I see a lot of Waterford "giftology" online - can you explain what that is? I suspect it's more mass produced and maybe slightly lesser quality than older Waterford. I think it's all made in Slovakia and seems to be less expensive.

Giftology was a clever packaging of tabletop and collections. Genius marketing with ready to gift items in cute gift tins. By then, much of the line was made in Slovenia.

Great video as always! I have a question about Waterford crystal decanter’s, if they are true Waterford, will they always be stamped? I have found one that I am considering purchasing and it’s being advertised as a Waterford Wine decanter in the Lismore pattern, but for the life of me I cannot find the stamp on it! It’s absolutely beautiful either way, but it would be nice to verify if it’s a true piece of Waterford. Thank you (P.S. I have a picture of it if you want to see it)
