I thought you were never going to notice that off angle at the crease of the arm. It gave me a little anxiety.😂😂 I see how patient you have to be with it. I've been looking for this information for so long. Just watching your videos of the process of drawing this one has helped me so much. Thank you again.

i have a question is there any online resource where I can print or purchase these plates? thank you for the upload I'm finding myself extremely inspired

If you do an image search for "Bargue Plate" you should have no problem finding these images. However, the Charles Bargue Drawing Course book is a fantastic resource. The plate in this series is copied and enlarged from the book and this method tends to have the best quality.

Hello All...Question? Does anyone know how or what method is best used to EVALUATE your own work that might, just might be Close to what a professional evaluator would conclude? Point: I'm personally doing the Bargue course all on my own as many of you I would suppose! I am aware of much of the process, but this is a really serious endeavor to undertake alone and a great deal to comprehend no matter what you thought you knew!!! This is a different aesthetic exposure and I don't take it lightly! I will appreciate any helpful comments, should you know or have some experience with what might help! An individual is not always his own best critic!

One way to check your work with a Bargue plate is to lay your drawing over the Bargue Plate in front of a window, and see where yours differs from the original. I caution you to only use this method once you think you are absolutely done with the plate, otherwise you are cheating yourself of the learning experience of doing it without those training wheels.
