Thanks for the review! Love my Grizzly. Actually picked up a 3rd(final) run. Wasnt a perfect finish and neither was a buddies 3rd run Grizzly. But this mid tech line is for USING (IMO) so I still give it 5/5 stars. Would love to see another review

I went over to DLT & grabbed THE BEST ONE - the Red Elder Burl w Mosaic Pins baby! I took a look at all of the examples at KSF before pulling the trigger as well, & yes, because of you, I was able to snag the best one that Peter made, period. This isn't simply my opinion, it's a damn fact - look it up. Peter - I'm a fan brother, I can't believe how affordable you were able to make these knives - & I got one of the more expensive examples at $375. This knife & sheath is worth so much more - I feel truly fortunate to have snagged my beauty - I suggest everyone grab one today, because you can basically watch these leaving the screen, they're going so fast - thanks guys!

Got mine from Knivesshipfree. I have to say, grind lines on the swedge and fuller are unmatched, (side to side), the sharpened edge was not even as well. Maybe the first production run was really nice, but I think they hired a bunch of newbies at Bark River to catch up with the demand. The sheath is crazy big and not of the best quality, though I bet that was $100.00 of the purchase price. Myself, like Chris will have to buy a aftermarket kydex. Contrary to this review, I find it out-chops my RTAK II, so I would rate it a good chopper.

While some might not be able to see the difference, I'd LOVE to see a WHWL Edition [What Have We Learned?] of a collabo knife between Battle Horse Knives & LT Wright Knives where the input is split right down the middle 50/50. That would be interesting to me.

I hate to say it but I like the older grizzly hammer marks better than stock removal. I know the cpm 3v whatever might be stronger but I pay for custom work not assembly line factory work. I think Pete Kohler should've kept the old process and not chose quantity instead of quality. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on that stock removal griz. I would've loved the original hammer forged griz too bad everyone is thinking about quantity and profit nowadays rather than a custom CUSTOM product.
