Barkers good for wider square feet

Hi Paweł, always the first and most honest answer is that the only way to be sure how well a shoe fits or not is to try them on. When this is not possible we can only consider the 'averages' from the information that we have. Often the best way to advise is to make reasonable comparisons between Brands and Models that we are both personally familiar with, so if you have any of our brands, please tell me which model, size and how they fit......... My own feet accurately measure 26cm in length and I could wear a UK 7 1/2 in Barker 460 Last. Using the 'average' length measurements, this does suggest a 10 could be good for you, but again no guarantee.

Hi Richard, thank you for prompt and valuable feedback. I agree; the best and safest way is to try them on and then decide. Unfortunately, because of many different reasons I am not bale ot do that. For Yanko, Alfred Sargent, Meermin, and other Barker I have a size 9 1/2 and those fit perfectly. For Country boots I prefer a bit more roomy shoes; so theoretically 10 UK should be fine. I searched in the Internet for some comparisons of Barker Calder boots with some others brands (Trickers, Loake, C&J etc) ... not so many by the way... and the suggestion is to go one size down ... so it would be 9UK for me :-( .... also the pictures show that the Barker boots are the beast ;-) ... that's causing some confusion on my side ....
