The owner of this car asked me to clean up the interior and exterior of this car after he bought it from the original owner who parked it in a barn some years ago. This truck hasn't been washed in 22 years and the interior has also seen better days and in need of a car restoration inside and out. There is also a ton of oxidation to the paint along with scratches that we are going to polish out to make this truck shine! Cleaning a car and detailing a car is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences. Man from the start of the video this was already one of the nicest trucks from this era I've ever seen. Usually the driver door is hanging crooked and won't close and there's at least rust where splash guards would be. This one is in great condition!

This GMC Sierra is a darn good truck. This older example that was kept unwashed in storage took a lot of work to clean and restore to its original look and luster. Really nicely nice with good attention to the detail. Really love the seat cleaning and buffing of the clear coat to restore its shine. Well done.

One thing I love to do after I'm done shampooing/extracting is apply a couple very generous coats of Scotchgard (after everything has dried). Then future spills tend to be much easier for the owner to clean up themselves as they don't really soak in very well.

This is why I like KZfaq. You can make videos about anything. And for some reason I’m loving to watch this. Can’t click off. Great editing!

Take a shot every time he calls this truck a car ... I didn’t mean it in a hateful or degrading way, I was just making a joke about how he was calling it a car. Call it whatever you want, I really don’t care

Car is synonymous with vehicle. Truck is just a more specific term, but car is not wrong

Ah no. Cars are designed to haul passengers. Trucks are designed to haul cargo. Its a truck.

I had a 1984 GMC Jimmy with vinyl seats and vinyl floors. You couldn't get it dirty if you tried! I used to use a garden hose and a shop vac. Yep, trucks aren't trucks without vinyl! LOL
