I made a small batch with my young daughter using your tutorial and it didn’t turn out right. We couldn’t figure out what we did wrong. We came back to your video and re-watched it and discovered from your video AND a wonderful comment you made to a viewer that the most common mistake is overcooking the clay. Looking back, that is EXACTLY what happened to our first batch. Due to it being half the amount, it easily overcooked after only two sessions of 30 seconds.😳 Oops! There was no way to rescue it, no matter how much glycerine or lotion we added.😂 Our second batch turned out PERFECT! we did about 4 rounds of 10 seconds and that did the trick! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your clear instructions and tutorial! My daughter and I are looking forward to quality craft time tomorrow once the clay rests. We’re just doing it for fun but if we ever get as good as you, you best believe we will shower you with credit! Nothing but good karma will come your way, dear! I used to make this clay when I was a kid! And it was the best clay I ever used, was disappointed when I finally got polymer clay and realised it was difficult to condition it to a softer consistency before using it 😆 adding the white acrylic is a great tip so it doesn't yellow, I never thought of that!

I haven't made this clay before but I do have some crafting knowledge that might help if you want the clay to stay white I would definitely recommend adding white acrylic paint bc it's kind of the same process if you use caulking or spackle not sure which for fake frosting if you don't add white acrylic paint it'll turn yellow and also I think it would be better to use plastic wrap to store the clay because in ceramics we would transfer our clay that came in thick plastic packaging to a thin trash bag because the thicker plastic would dry the clay out faster so I would probably use the plastic wrap to store this clay

thank you for this recipe! the clay is a really nice consistency, it feels extremely similar to nara flower clay which i really love. Nara flower clay is on the more expensive side so this is a really nice cheap alternative and i really love it.

tried making it and i didn't use the glue and cornstarch in proper ratio and it was a little hard even before microwaving but i still managed to make useable clay! i've always been wanting to make porcelain clay earrings, charms and stuff but never really found a proper tutorial on how to make the clay. tysmm for this!!

Hi! I just made clay using this tutorial, it seemed good and looked just like the video, but it got weird and sticky during the kneading process. I didn't use synthetic vinegar😭😭 the more cornstarch I put, the stickier it gets, but when I roll it up it doesn't stick. I wrapped it in plastic and placed it in a container. I'll just pray and hope it gets better tomorrow lmao Update: its good now! It does get sticky again whenever I add acrylic for coloring, but doesn't stick as much as yesterday

Thanks ❤😊 I also make my own clay. The ingredients i use is simple. 1. any white body lotion. 2. PVA/fevicol glue. 3. corn starch. 4. You can use any colour. 5. First use a spoon to mix it then use your hand to make it like a dough. IF you see your clay is way too soft like any paste then use more cornstarch. OR if you see your clay is dry like sand then use a bit more lotion and glue. After making the clay if you see your clay is getting dry then use lotion OR if you see your clay is not stretchy then glue. That's it 😊 i hope it will work for you guys ❤
