We signed him from Barnsley in 1995 for a record fee. Played 10 minutes against Middlesbrough and got dragged off cos hecwas woefully unfit. With John Mcginlay and Alan Thompson he was soon a regular in most of our Bolton pubs and clubs. Immense in our championship winning season and for the first part of the following Prem season. Thought he eas brilliant, gutted when he left for Leicester, always got the impression he couldve done more if he had looked after himself better. Clutch of medals from Bolton and Leicester though.
