I am such a Star Wars fan but I also know a lot so here’s some fun facts :) The AT-AT has many flaws with the only offensive weapons are only at the front and a vulnerable neck but has VERY strong armour (which is why they tripped them in the movies) while also being a ALL TERRAIN-ARMOURED TRANSPORT it can hold a heck of alot of troopers on two different floors and it can hold two speeder bikes and deploy them. Of course other models of it might be different

Really I think it's used for spotting and long range, heavy fire support in addition to long range troop transport. But a lot of people think we'd easily destroy them, and don't consider thata they are commonly supported by AT-STs, AT-AAs, and AT-DPs, in addition to many other variants like the AT-MP, which cover flanks and shoot down harder targets that an AT-AT might have trouble taking out. Rebel towcables are also extrememly strong to be able to withstand the might of a walker, and I doubt we could feasibly make something with similar proportions, and also deploy it effectively. And like you've already said, the armor is extrememly resistant, but the Rebels ave managed to crack through it through use of turbolasers, proton torpedos, and GX-15 Starbolt concussion missiles.

Alone ATATs would of sucked. Especially the earlier versions. ATAT divisiosn always have escort walkers/tanks.

Couple things, hold g to command soldiers and commandeer vehicles. F1 puts you in the driver's seat, F2 puts you in the secondary seat
