Love love love this video. And girl I 100% relate to you, you come into all your rounds or your lessons with big goals and high expectations towards your riding and then it feels like everything just gets thrown out the window and suddenly you feel like you’re riding like trash and you stop out at the second jump and all you want to do is cry. But yk it will all come together someday and realistically you’re never riding as bad as you feel like you are. Also love that you listened to him, my horse got hock injections recently for literally the exact same reason.

thank you i hope so! i’d like to go to some equitation finals and get confident in the 1.20. it’s always been a dream of mine to go to maclay finals too but our odds are looking especially bleak this year

Come and compete in the maclay classes up here in Canada, you only need 6 points to qualify for regionals here lol 😏

Great job we all learning lol first couple of shows with my horse was just......um horrible lol don't put that pressure on yourself that you weren't perfect you did amazing and i pray for leo hope he is ok and is more confident in the next show!❤❤❤

hi! i was wondering; is it hard to remmeber the courses? im getting into hunter jumping but my memory is terrible and im worried that when i start to show ill forget the course…also, how long have you been riding?

i don’t have a great memory either but i don’t find it difficult to remember courses. usually you get to see the course pretty far in advance and can also sometimes even walk them on foot before your class starts. also usually in the hunters the courses are very short and simple. i have been riding for 11ish years!
