Sphinx Cowl being a defense type already sells it for me, the mummy aesthetic and the colors only make it more appealing. I hadn't realized that X beys were so light, though. Hopefully they come out with heavier and bulkier designs as this gen goes on. I like bricks.

@@SimonSater chain with gear point has excellent balance when on the tip but can knock anything out when launched or knocked on an angle

@@dyamicorriveau9677 that’s facts like I was planning for the defensive blades to make Sphinx Cowl hit it me to my aggressive movement making me aim for the Xtreme Line and then I go for a dive attack the defense blades will support the upper attack from the top chains

I rather call the other color variations: Blizzard/snow Cowl: white and blue Sphinx Cowl Malicious / Shadow Cowl: Black and red Sphinx Cowl Ps: I feel like Sphinx Cowl and the recolors are the Uno reverse cards against attack types

Having jagged edges as a defence type is horrible. its also why Beyblades like Leone and Draciel were so bad at defence despite being labeled as defence.

I really don't think so, especially in defense... you can see it in the video, the black one slaps, and it's the attack one. Up until now, TT has failed with defense unfortunately...

Few things to consider, Beyblade X is not the previous generations and the shapes and way certain things behave here perform a lot differently, something like Hells Scythe for an example has a lot of strong recoil but got used on a lot of defense in Beyblade X on the first few months, will Sphinx be the same? we will test to see.

Ngl, here's some ideas to keep the X Line interesting: 1. Left Spinning X Beyblade 2. Double Sided Ratchet or Special Ratchets that have built in tips (something like a three way type ratchet where the tip can change into different modes just like the Zeta Driver.) 3. Spin Stealing X Beyblade 4. An X beyblade with a moving parts gimmick on the layer just like Archer Hercules or Chain Kerbeus. All these ideas are cool but I don't think they'll release them at this early stage but I think it's possible that one of these Ideas might come out.
