Konyaks are the best and the earliest gunsmiths in nagaland. Some even claim they had gun/invented guns before the English, but i doubt that. They can manufacture gunpowder, the trigger mechanism, butt stocks and weld together the parts required for a gun, but they do not have the technology to make the barrel. In the earliers days the gun barrels would be sourced/ bartered from burma. Nowadays mostly steering rods from scrap vehicles are used as gun barrels. Now im not an expert so someone can prove me wrong.
