Pleased to see so many runs without whips or spurs! (although I wish all of them were free of those awful aids!) Horses skin is thinner and has more nerve endings that ours, they feel more pain! Studies show that whipping and spurring doesn't speed up your horse, so why put them through the pain and or discomfort?
