I imagine they have it set up to where the gray names are a constant underneath layer, then they just add a new colored layer on top when the role is revealed. Or maybe their editing software allows them to change the color on the fly

There should be a fanmade map where the traitor tester is a barnacle. When an innocent is confirmed, it goes green. When a traitor is tested, a barnacles kills the traitor.

To be fair, the barnacle is sort of a traitor tester anyways considering how many times traitors get caught in them vs innocents getting caught in them.

Just to nerd out since they mentioned it before; Bee's don't always 'suicide sting' it's just the nature of human skin means the barbs which are usually effective against other animals gets stuck. Bees live after stinging many other animals

ENTOMOLOGY LESSON! Usually, the stinger would come right out again as it does on most other "attackers", but due to humans having thick skin, the bee gets stuck. It's not a murder-suicide. It's more murder-accidental-suicide.

You can get stung by a bee without the stinger getting stuck in your skin (and thus it won't die)! You'll feel a little sting, but you don't get the lasting effect of the venom because the stinger isn't in there to secrete it. Happened to me once when a bee got stuck near my armpit. It stung me a little, and flew out of my t-shirt a second later.

Bumble Bees have “unlimited stings” as their stingers have no barbs and therefore don’t tear off once they sting. Honey Bees have barbed stingers though.

Just had a thought. New Role: Handcuffed Person starts out as handcuffed in the beginning of the round. No guns. Nothing. Once unhandcuffed has a chance of becoming a 'special' role. Like a second detective, third traitor, another jester, or...bringing back an old favorite..the pheonix.

Some bees like killer bees don't have serration on their stingers so they don't die because their stingers don't come out. Some other bees get lucky but most likely their stinger will always come out. If it doesn't have serration though chances are it's going to sting you a lot more.
