I have the DI version, ran maybe 600-700 rounds through with no issues, both sub and supersonic. Love my Barrett, glad you like yours too.

Damn that's a sweet gun, I'm still not sold on pistons , my last Sig556 was piston and after 4 or 5 mag dumps I would have to turn up the gas knob or it wouldn't cycle, DI guns make a lot of trash but they spread the heat out equally, piston guns certainly shoot smoother, I can't decide what I like. I like both,

Very nice...Mine is on order and should be here in matter of few weeks. Can't wait. I noticed that the barrel and gas block are kind of greenish in color and not the same black ad the rest of the rifle.... Is it the cam or my eyes or is this normal? Why is everybody against has impengement? If you maintain the weapon well, it's never an issue. Pistons run good. But I don't believe in paying mass amounts more. The Barrett is a great gun though.
