As a Rangers fan I have to agree with you. Tavernier was rank on the pitch and hid after the game. Ryan Jack did more in 45 minutes than any other Rangers player and he came out and spoke to the press afterwards. This Rangers team are not rubbish but they were rank rotten last night. No fight, no guts, no closing down players. Just pathetic.

@@leth9320 they tried to close down Celtic players in patches in that first half but some of the one touch passing, quick turns and vision Celtic displayed was unplayable. The longer it went on that first half the less inspired Rangers were and it was summed up by Abadas goal right on half time - allowing Harare to drive to the byline and put in a cross that no one attacked except Abada. Poor performance. the extra possession and a couple of chances in the second half shouldn’t paper over the fact that Rangers were dismal and Celtic were exceptional

To be honest the tactics weren't really too much to do with it, although they didn't help. The line up from the beginning was terrible but the players just aren't good enough particularly mentally. Only 50% of what is needed to be a rangers player is technical ability, the other 50% is mentality and too many of them have proven not to have it. Leaving last season out because it was a freak occurance having no fans, the mentality is because of the fans and all seasons previous to last & so far this season the tavs goldsons , Kents etc just don't have it. If we got 3 points for every time tavernier pulled that gutted face during and after a big match that he didn't show up for we'd be champions again already! If Jack & balagon were as fit as we seen they were in the 2nd half they have GOT to start the game. There's no ifs or buts about it, it just shows the manager up to not know what the hell he's doing or else has an arrogance that he doesn't need them, he's going to cruise to victory & throw a kid into the bargain too with hardly any experience never mind an away old firm game, playing dallio was a silly mistake to make just like throwing sands straight into the away Aberdeen game too. He obviously didn't learn from that mistake

I’m a Celtic fan mate but it wasn’t a complete rebuild. I don’t get why we say this and compare ourselves to Rangers who less than a decade ago were in the 3rd division. We should be miles ahead of them not in a title race for fuck sake. We had the most expensive team in the league and got shagged by them with a 25 point gap. We keep talking about this “rebuild” and seem to forget we had sellable assets like Eddy & Ajer, Christie to name a few who we got decent money for meaning Ange could bring in his own players which he has done and it’s worked a treat thankfully. But the rebuild comments are very over dramatic considering we kept a hold of key players like Rogic, Forrest, Bitton, Greg Taylor & our best player by a country mile Callum mcgregor. I just hate how we always compare ourselves to a team who had a real rebuild, who had to officially start again from the bottom of Scottish football. We can say what we like about Gerrard and Rangers but he was brought in to stop 10 in a row which he did and it broke us. It still infuriates me to this day how we let a team like that come up through the divisions and take the league from us in our most important season ever. A chance that will probably never happen again but so be it Ange has got us playing some terrific football and I’m very confident we will win the league. Hail Hail☘️☘️

Rangers outplayed us last year just like we outplayed them last night, our arrogance is what killed 10 in a row and Rangers deserved to win it going the full season unbeaten. You talk about Bolongoli & his trip to Spain as if we never got a chance to reschedule the games we had to postpone due to his behaviour. It was all our own doing pulling the wire over average players like Ajeti & Duffy because they played in the prem. Started boasting about the fact Barkas was a “champions league level goalkeeper” when he looked petrified every time he played for us. The only good signing from that season was Turnbull, granted having Lennon as manager didn’t help as he never had a plan B when things went wrong & only started to play Turnbull later in the season. But to say we weren’t capable of beating teams like Ross County, St Mirren, ect is beyond a joke.
