They were more than best friends for sure, but brothers doesn’t act the way they did. Certain scenes can just be taken completely out of context. Their bantering is more like flirting than brotherly bantering. In my eyes.

Judah Austin it was always “my friend” followed by very loving and adoring looks though. Oliver/Diggle were brothers. And Olivarry for sure didn’t look at each other the same way. They were platonic soulmates. Barry was definitely Oliver’s soulmate because Barry ofc already had Iris. But the way Barry inspired Oliver and made him a better person more so than anyone else which Oliver even said in the Elseworlds crossover. “Because of you I think I’m gonna get there one day.” That’s basically the same thing he told Felicity at their wedding “I’m a better human being just because I’ve loved you.” But also because Barry inspired him so they both made him a better person but he gave it all up for Barry. And that just made me ship them. Even if I know they weren’t canon but they could’ve might as well have been.
