So glad you have reacted to this interview, Barry. One thing I really admire about Dimash is that he doesn't get himself into trouble. More often than not, when people get famous so quickly, because things became so easily accessible to them and just because they can, they do it, and often was the quickest way to get themselves in trouble. Dimash had the traditional Kazakh upbringing, thanks to his parents and grandparents whom taught him well to respect everyone. He also surrounded himself with extended family and very close friends whom he trusted. We, as his fan understand that as much as we love to know more about Dimash, he did a great job keeping his private life, private, and we respect that. We only have love and respect for him.

Dimash ... I will repeat tirelessly that you are a jewel of light in this dark world that we inhabit. Your talent, your almost unreal beauty, different from ordinary human beauty, your dedication, your charisma, your humanity, your respect ... You are too much for this world. Protection for you all your life, that is what I ask and a lot of happiness and health to continue giving us light and showing us the way. Thanks for your sentimental reaction.

Love hearing more about Dimash. He’s such a wonderful young man. This was good.

I love that Dimash is so self respecting and values -takes care of - his privacy. He managed this interview with a great deal of maturity and skill. When you lose that boundary then life becomes crazy for an artist trying to manage the craziness of 'Celebrity'. There is a vast difference between acknowledgement of one's talent and respectful interest, and obsessive intrusive prying. There is this self serving 'script' running over the past few decades - particularly in the so called 'western world'; that once you are a 'public figure' you have no right to a private life. That is so very wrong. When an artist goes up on stage they become public property - to the extent that they choose what they share of themselves, and if they give an interview the same applies. When they step off stage -their life should return to private, just like anyone else who steps out of their work role. For those, like Dimash, generous enough to be respectful of fans whilst out in public, that generosity should be valued and respected. Often times it is abused. People pursue him in airports -train stations- on the street. He wears dark glasses, minimises eye contact and keeps communications short, to try to manage and limit these intrusions. Some people -who regard themselves as 'devoted fans' - clearly have no regard for his person space or comfort and believe that the title 'fan' gives then some 'right' to be incredibly pushy. They completely disregard all the non verbal signals that he is giving of needing his personal space. He consistently remains courteous which is far more courtesy than they are giving him. The more this intrusion grows the more these so called ' fan's' push him into a place where he has to completely limit such access. It then shifts into being not just about maintaining personal space and privacy but safety. Nobody who is a genuine admirer wants Dimash to be - or feel - unsafe.

What a truly genuine, talented man Dimash is. You know his parents are proud, but I would bet his ancestors are proud also. Too bad there aren't more entertainers like him. Instead, we get the untalented spoiled brats.

Dimash's voice is out of this world. So when NASA was going to send the land rover to Mars, seeking anyone who would like their name inscribed on it, I could only think of Dimash. So I have the NASA issued passport for Dimash. And his name is inscribed on the land rover which landed in Feb. of 2021. Many fan clubs celebrated that day around the globe, with pictures of Dimash in a space suit, on Mars. Yes, his voice is heavenly, celestial, almost angelic. I cannot think of one single person in all the earth that has a voice like his, and encompassed in such a good human being.

Love the fact that he isn't interested in the money side of things but all he wants is his Dears to enjoy his talent

His interviews are very interesting. He is so humble, and I find the way he speaks to be interesting his way of saying things is different in a humbling sort of way. Yes, I agree he should keep his private life for himself. He deserves to have something private, all artists do.

This interview takes some time and shows this megastar's such nice and down-to-earth personality. From the beginning, he was clear about how he was going to direct his steps and to whom he was going to entrust his career. Otherwise he would expose herself to the dangers and excesses that many artists fall into. In his friends and family he has the most faithful allies of him to be able to perform perfectly, as he likes. He has always stated that he could not work with people he does not trust. As a perfectionist he is in control of every project he undertakes. Nothing escapes his supervision and the decision will always be his. The army of "dears" from all over the world will always be ready to support and defend him !!!

Thank you for this video, Barry, I am glad we watched it together. 🙃 It's really the 1st Dimash interview I ever saw, tho' I listen to his music almost every day since I've "discovered" him and his cosmic voice. He IS the Music, there is nobody like him out there. I cannot even express how he makes me feel when I listen to him sing, it's sooo sooo profound. You must know what I mean, how you get to learn more about yourself after experiencing true Dimash💥 You learn there is some center in your mind/heart that you've never really used before properly. Your soul is on fire!!! He makes you evolve as a human being, totally new level! He's also very cute, charming ❤ and humble guy. It's simply impossible to resist him.

I believe this is part 1of 2 parts. You might plan on viewing part 2. This interview was very insightful when I saw it last year. Stayed with you till the end. Dimash is an old soul in a young body. He has incorporated ancient wisdom. There is another great interview and 4 or 5 documentaries on Dimash's channe. All are very informative and great to watch.

I am truly humbled by the real person Dimash is, he cares for family and friends over money, he very much respects and loves children and the elderly, I know him gives much to charity to help others, but never wants any credit at all. Fame and Money has not changed him and just as rare as his vocal range is so is those attributes he carries. How can you not love Dimash the person, as well as his excellent music. I stopped cooking to watch this interview with you to the end Barry dear! if you see the interview of when he was about 10 or 11 I think, you'll see how stable and focused his thoughts are even as a child. shows how determination can see us through if we put our mind to achieving goals that benefit others beside ourselves. I'm so glad you are watching this, I have this saved in my Dimash file, one of my favorites. I've seen it a couple times, and it was so fun and interesting to learn about this great artist! I enjoyed sharing it with all of you! The only thing I do not appreciate in the several interviews that I have seen including a great one with only his parents being interviewed is the way they push and push (especially to his parents) for information about his earnings and his private romantic life. Dimash's father, of course!, handled the pushy interviewer skillfully and courteously, as does dear Dimash. I don't think just because someone is famous that this means that they lose their right to a personal private life! Would these interviewers reveal their earnings and how they spend THEIR money? An artist like Dimash who is so courteous, so giving, and so generous with us the public - giving so much of his heart, hard work, talent and soul - and who expresses such care for us as his admirers and appreciators of his art....deserves to keep something for himself, just for him and those that he loves in his inner circle. I think he deserves the same respect, care and courtesy that he gives to all of us his "Dears" in return. His private life and how much he earns is NO ONE"s business unless he chooses to disclose such information. Dimash is such a beautiful rare soul, I feel like I want to protect him from people who want to be unnecessarily intrusive!

Barry, I absolutely loved it, while his talent is unmatched in my opinion, it is his heart and humbleness that truly makes him so wonderful and loved by so many. There is a longer version. He is asked where he goes for a holiday, to relax. He says he doesn’t go on holiday. If he has time he goes home. With his family. The best place is laying with his head on his granny’s lap. He was so beautifully genuine about his just wanting to be with his family, needed nothing else to make him relax. I love this interview. He strikes one as being a centered young man, confident in his art yet aware of the pitfalls of fame. I remember Freddie Mercury saying that he couldn't imagine himself strutting the stage in his older years - may be more of a premonition than anything else. But Dimash sees himself as an old man still singing and tweaking his voice! I like the fact that his parents are keeping a watch in the background. That's priceless in a world full of sharks that does not necessarily hold Dimash's strong moral and family values. I love his cheeky side, which sometimes comes out on stage as well, like in the Singer performance of Opera 2 and in the last clip of this interview, where he holds the girl a little it bit long than warranted and gives her this naughty lady killer smile. Very much like your videos!
