Mystic Mac I think she did actually grow to love him but at first it was just a fling which is not a problem. also I think she resents him for opportunities falling in his lap just for being tall when she’s been acting longer and with (seemingly) more dedication which really makes sense, how could anyone not hate someone for that? I think she gets more hate from people not really understanding her side of the picture possibly cuz she’s a woman too??

Idk I’m just now watching the series for the first time and it feels like it’s not really set in a grounded realistic world. Everything is comedic and dark at the same time. Like obviously it’s ridiculous he has to call a customer service representative to detonate a bomb but that scene was hilarious and fits the tone of the show. Just like this scene does. Barry is pretty careless with how he commits crimes. In the first episode he’s standing in the middle of the street shooting people and walking away casually almost not even trying to not be noticed.
